What if the spray is harmful to dogs/animals? People need to think about it long and hard

If it was harmful then pet shops would not see it, they use it in those training collars to stop barking, worked a treat until my boy decided hey if I bark 14 times I will empty the chamber and still bark

Highlighting poo has helped to reduce the problem in some places. Was watching a program recently, the first time they did it (they used flags) they had lots and ran out of flags. About a month later they repeated and it halved. Repeated again and there was about 1 poo, therefore shaming people does start to prick in the end!!
AL I agree pet friendly spray would be important however, what about the dogs which eat poo and the hazards this pose to them. A dog I know does this and last week he had a fit, thought to be related to doing this!

I am in favour of this - and I am more than happy to embarass the irrisponsible! They need a lesson learning, and more need to be caught red handed!
Yes, in favour, in favour.

Both of my two are known to eat poo, although not all the time. I wouldn't want them picking up any that had been painted! How is the dog you know now Caz??

Maybe the paint sprayed on the poop would stop it smelling how it would normally smell and the dogs wouldn't want to eat it??

Well that is possible I guess. I'm not sure I'd want to test that out though!
