Having been away I have just been reading all posts on this thread - and tina is a source of fascination to me! The curious language structure in her posts, the repetition in several posts and the lack of any emotional response to members replies makes me wonder if she is a computer! ha ha CollieSlave where did you go ? somewhere nice ? we missed you and your comments, well I have

I find Tina's persistence admirable! Typical of business minded people in the far East. Where are you? China? Korea?
And once you conquer they world with the automatic feeder what's next? Automatic pee and poo finder and cleaner? Automatic human replacement? To throw the balls for the dog long after the dog's fallen asleep? To stroke the dog's head long after the dog's moved away?
Seriously though, have you at least got a working prototype? Done your costings?

Perhaps she has had enough of our opinions. Now if someone can invent cat litter tray washer that will also replace once washed the cat litter. I am all for it. I reckon either of mine deliberately hold onto their pee or poo for when I have just replaced the clean cat litter after washing the tray. I have two and obviously sort one out before tackling the other. But how many times one or the other will leave a deposit as soon as the cat litter has been replaced. Sooty at one time when I had put the clean litter in would just literally sit there in the tray for ages. He would look round and then come out without leaving a deposit.

I think the Americans have invented a self cleaning litter tray which has to be plumbed into your toilet!!! And of course your cats wait for clean tray before going....would you use a dirty toilet? In public you'd find a clean one, at home you'd get the dirty devil to clean up after themselves before you used it....Yes/No?

Fair point but what I was getting is how they wait till I have washed tray one and yet tray two of which has been used but is still waiting to be washed I should have said. Their trays get cleaned every time they do a mess as I am home most of the time. I would never leave a dirty tray as you say I wouldn't like to use a dirty toilet.

I hope you have got some constructive feedback on your proposed product although reading the responses it does seem that it is something that the majority of members (that replied) would not use. I wish you luck in designing a product that you will be able to successfully market

swoots I always assumed my cats were going in to put some of their scent back in the litter tray when they use it right after I've cleaned it. They don't do it when I sieve through the litter to get the clumps of dirty litter out as I do now with this great new litter, so maybe it's true.

Which cat litter do you use.

what a random post, tina you have asked for feedback and this has been given, you have been asked questions yet avoided answering them.
would i use this product? no. its not for me and from what ive read about it so far i would not recommend it to anyone with cats either. i dont mean to sound harsh but if you ask for feedback you need to accept you may not like it and you need to deal with it and either take it on board and adapt your product to suit or show people why your product is worth spending our hard earned cash on.
ive got images of the feeder calling one of my labradors and him munching away while the other one sits patiently waiting for his turn then vice versa.....

Which cat litter do you use. Well I'm not sure about that one, but I did see a Jackson Galaxy (the cat behaviourist) episode where the cat would regularly sit in the litter tray. It was because she was nervous and she found the litter tray (which even when cleaned was filled with her own scent, which is comforting to a cat) to be a safe and comforting place. I don't imagine that's Sooty's thing haha, that's just the only other example of that behaviour that I've ever heard! I use BioKats Classic Fresh haha, it's great! Haha this is so off topic I wouldn't mind a litter tray that let me know when a deposit had been made so I knew when to clean it out haha, but as has been pointed here, that's always immediately after it's been cleaned. What I really want is a dog proof litter tray that is still easy enough for the cats to use.

What I really want is a dog proof litter tray that is still easy enough for the cats to use. I think Sooty does it because he is a bit odd like his brother Sweep. You do know about Sweep that likes to cool bathe when the freezer door is open I changed my twos cat litter to worlds best and they were okay for about 2 weeks. Went and bought some more then Sweep started peeing where he shouldn't. Thought he had infection then hubby said have you got any of the other litter left. Luckily I had. I put it in tray and no more peeing every where. And it is Aldis fullers earth litter Problem is that it is so heavy. your cat tray as it not got a lid on it. I bought mine from Argos and the lid clips on and have never had any other. I have even bought a couple spare ones in case they discontinue them
