My beautiful Lucky cat slipped away last night, about 10pm. I knew it was coming, and because of that, he was not alone. He went peacefully in my Mother's arms. He was about 18. It doesn't feel real, and so many people miss him, not just us, as he was our hotel cat, and he was loved by so many customers and guests. So very sorry S.H. Lucky was a gorgeous looking cat, looked a great character too.The photos are incredible, you have caught his beauty, funny side and gentle side so very well,it feels like you have shown us his whole story. We try to console our selves when we lose an older pet with the fact they enjoyed a long life, but it doesn't lessen our pain, yet we have done our duty by giving them our best.

Oh so sorry to read about Lucky SarahHound. The photos are a lovely tribute to him. He'll be cuddling up to Todd again at Rainbow Bridge. He's done well to reach 18 but that doesn't make it any easier to reconcile how much you & all your family will miss him. R.I.P Lucky

Thanks all. It still feels very odd without him. I keep going to do things for him and he's not there!
It is getting a bit easier now though, he was a good age and without a doubt, was the most spoilt pet we've ever had the pleasure to own. He even had customers at the hotel who would bring him tins of salmon occasionally!
