While I don't mind people having nice signatures, I do not appreciate large and very 'flashy' ones. I am somebody who likes to read the contents of the forum, not be distracted by over-the-top signatues. Thats my opinion on overly 'jazzy' signatures. I know I could block them from my view but there are some signatures which I do like to look at. I agree! bectil

I agree too, Bextull. I'm not as bothered by the moving images as I am the large ones though. Having said that, I don't think anyone's sig is over large now.
When I was on my PC, I could stop flashing/moving images by pressing the esc key. However, now that I'm on my macbook, I don't think that works! But there's a bit of advice for anyone on a PC - if you find the moving images distracting/annoying, try pressing the esc key as it should stop them.

I think I will take off the moving thingy from my siggy because even though its awsome, I don't want to slow the forum down or annoy any other users. I will save the link in my blog though so I can still keep it.

I agree Bextull I am impressed and enjoy Scallywags moving avatar which is out of the way of the main section you are reading, its in moderation. Like the moving smilies too. However flashing and moving signatures are seriously off putting. They also distract from the messages people are trying to put across on the threads. For me they destroy my enjoyment of the forum. I find they stress me out and I come on here to communicate with like minded people and to relax!! Perhaps that's cos I am dyslexic and I need to be able to concentrate on things when I read them. Don't need anything to make it even harder!! I actually hope admin bans anything moving from the main signatures (moving avatars are fine ). On a separate point some users signatures are getting very large too! C2G I absolutely agree with everything you say here! Keep it simple and uncomplicated! Well said!

Ok, I see lots of people obviously don't like it. I'll take mine off as it's annoying people. I just thought people might like them

If it helps anyone who wants to reduce the size of their signatures I used the pitapata mini tickers. CurlyCub where did frankie go??? I too dislike flashy signatures but having relatively large pictures don't bother me

Yeah CurlyCub if you have Jess up there is no reason you can't have Frankie next to him. Shame to waste that empty space.
