It was suuuuper sunny yesterday (great for Carlotta, who spent the entire day rolling in the sun) and Mieze has responded by regressing to a habit of hers from when we first got her - hiding under the couch cover!  |

People without pets are missing out on so much My neighbour Kath downstairs has NEVER had animals in her life (she's 72 now!!!) and she always laughs and says, every time we fostered another oldie from PARRT and then when we got Chilli and Suzi, ''you DO need your animals, don't you Gill?'' She doesn't know about my puppy....yet  It's a fact though....I feel lost without animals around me  For months, years even but it's been worse this past six months, I have craved a dog now that my working hours were perfect for one and not being able to get one had me unsettled and fidgety and, I'll admit it, grumpy....but ever since Rose rang me up and offered Sandy to me I've been smiling and happy and feel so complete once more......even if said puppy IS doing her best to give me grey hairs before she's even home!!!!!  |

Haha Lola reminds me so much of Bramble who also loves getting into bags, although not as much as Smudgie who will unzip them and climb in. Haha in season cats give me the creeps a bit, when Smudgie and Bramble got theirs they'd be so cute and then start hitting on me, the dog, my family, everyone. Poor Sasha was super confused haha and I couldn't stroke the cats without having them back up on me haha. Glad Carlotta and Mieze both came pre-spayed! Wonder what Rosas season will be like when she gets it haha.

Lily has been yodelling all night long!!! Neil was watching tv (he's just gone to bed!) and put his headphones on so he could concentrate on the tv He says it's great Lily being in season though because he gets LOADS of cuddles off her |

I was writing a letter this afternoon and suddenly realised how quiet it was  I could see Chilli stretched out in her bed and Neil was asleep in our bed....but no sign of Lily!!! Not next to Chilli...not on the windowsill....not locked in the bathroom She must be sitting on the kitchen window watching the world go by I thought so I went into the kitchen and found her....fast asleep on a tea towel All the comfy beds and fur throws in the house and she chooses a folded up bit of fabric  |

She was recouping her energy cos she spent the rest of the evening bawling for a boyfriend Thankfully, so far this morning, she's been quiet so I think (I hope!) she's stopped calling |
