I have only ever had 1 cat at a time , I would love to have another cat for company for Freddy but I don't think he would be impressed, so don't want to temp fate , all my furbabies get on with one another and don't want to upset any of them . I might get to kittens or adopt 2 older cats from a rescue that already get on in the future. That would be lovely to have 2 kittens or older cats that you know get on well together. I know , donβt think hubby would agree, but definitely something to think about for the future and gives me plenty of time to work on hubby lol π πx

It's lovely that they have now formed a bond. I wish that my two cats had done that, but they never did. They are getting there, still a bit of hissing and swatting but mostly play together, chasing each other up/down stairs or outside

It is lovely when 2 cats who are not siblings form a bond littlekitty. It is sad when they don't cazypops. My 3 cats in the cat pen are mother and 2 daughters so they are fine, but Toffee is an outside cat. He wouldn't get on with them, he sometimes has scraps with Willow through the mesh of the cat pen. I think he would be ok with Kali but not Blackberry and Willow. I worry about him as he's starting to age (15 in January) and I don't like to think of him outside all day and night. He prob is happy loving outside some cats prefer that freedom he knows his world out there so long as he has a warm dry place to sleep he will be OK but yes we also feel the same about suits but as they say living his best life

Well, it's now 6 months since I have seen Tay the stray and I can assume he has gone - in my mind he acquired an owner and they have moved away. I don't want to think of the alternative.

My daughter and her fiance went to Center Parcs last week. On the Tuesday they were out walking and noticed 2 women bending over a fence and reaching over it for some time, so they walked another way. Not long after my daughter went for a spa treatment and her fiance went to the shop. On the way back he decided to have a look to see what the 2 women had been looking at. He couldn't see anything at first but then heard squeaking noises. A Centre Parcs worker was walking past so he called him over and they found 3 tiny kittens in a bucket with a hat covering them. They were very young and their eyes weren't open. The worker took them to the office. In the meantime quite a few people had gathered to see what was happening. Hopefully a rescue centre collected them from there. The poor kittens would have drowned in that bucket because they had torrential rain in the night. All I can say is thank goodness it didn't happen on the day before they came home and my daughter didn't see them, or I would be in possession of 3 little tabby kittens!

It was lucky your daughters OH was on the ball and checked. Do they think it was the women who abandoned them? Shame your daughter didn't get to them first.

A case of Toffee making sure that his scent goes with your daughter next time or else he's saying I'm coming with you next time to help find more abandoned kittens
