lotsofcats I wonder how that cat survived for that length of time, especially without water, unless it was able to get in & out the garage. Perhaps your sister-in-law needs to check the garage for cat sized holes! Glad there was a happy outcome

spider that look really does say I'm thinking I may not forgive you! Good news on the results of the vet visit. As to the glucose level, it really may be nothing to worry about it as it can go up with stress, at least that's what the vet told me when Roman had his blood test a week or so ago. Mind you they had to sedate him to take the bloods - it was listed on the bill as aggressive animal sedation!!! I don't know how Moonbeam reacts to visits to the vet, Roman's usually calm but the taking of blood has been a bit more traumatic for him since a bad experience.

Sorry to hear about Moonbeam's paw spider, our vets take it from the neck so they have a shaved patch there which I suspect may well not be comfortable in the first place never mind the needle going in as well! I suppose as Roman has been a fighter he may be concerned & defensive with the jugular being used!!!

Poor Moonbeam, it's all finished with now and perhaps you can think of forgiving the boss - after some nice treats maybe? I hope that your mind has now been put to rest spider, I know you were worried about him.

Ah yes he is my best friend again it's just the 3 of us and he is back to his old self but his paw o bless him I remember when we got him neutered he couldn't walk fordward we had to get him extra pain killers IV neutered ladies in the town and they never miss a beat boomsey isn't a cat to put up with any pain but then men are usless with pain in general

Ouch spider, just a little dearer than Roman's blood tests & medicines but Moonbeam may have had more tests.

Ouch spider, just a little dearer than Roman's blood tests & medicines but Moonbeam may have had more tests. When Kiba-Khan had his blood test the other week and I was also given another 2 months supply of his tablets for his heart, I was only charged £50.40!! I think the vets forgot to charge for something.....
