On Saturday when it was raining heavily I noticed that Toffee was curled up in his outside plastic shelter. He took some coaxing but finally came into the house. He was minus his collar (3rd since Christmas) and had obviously been fighting again as he had scratches around his nose and eye. He had tufts of fur sticking out and a cat's claw in his fur. He was very jumpy and frightened. I kept him in for the rest of the day as he kept shaking his ear. When I checked later I noticed he has 2 scratches inside his ear - I think he lost! He went out yesterday morning but didn't stay out for long, he's still upset.

I am entering Blackberry in a cat show again this year on 25th January. I sent off my entry form and cheque in December. I was waiting for my confirmation to come back to me but nothing received. I phoned the show manager on Friday evening and she hasn't received my entry or cheque. The show entry date closes on Wednesday 8th so I scanned my copy of the entry form and emailed it to her. I don't do internet banking so rather than risk sending another cheque my kind boss let me make the payment by BACS through the work's bank account. I've just had a confirmation email that all was received. If I hadn't phoned it would have been too late by the time I was wondering why my show book hadn't turned up. I've got to check my bank statement regarding the cheque - nobody should be able to bank it other than the cat society. lotsofcats I would still get the bank to cancel the cheque. Good job you checked with the show manager & how nice of your boss. If I've remembered right this will be Blackberry's 3rd show ao fingers crossed she wins her classs & achieve her Master Cat, (so long as the 3 awards are from different judges) I use a variety of dried food spider - Go Cat, Royal Canin Fibre Response, Royal Canin Maine Coon and Royal Canin Urinary, which is the light variety. I think it's just that I can control how many biscuits Kali eats but not how much wet food she eats. Dry food is easier to measure the right amount rather than wet, which is why it often recommended for weight control, but you do need a lot less in volume than wet. We used Hills R/D & Metabolic for weight control of Penny. both have dry & weight versions but we didn't really use the wet as it was a pate style which she didn't really like. I've had a good success rate with Rogz collars I don't know if Osiris has less fights but he rarely loses them. Between Roman & Osiris I think they've lost 2 or 3 over the last couple of years. Luckily I can find them as a result of having the trackers on them.

Yes, tonib, it will be Blackberry's 3rd show and if she gets her certificate for her class she will achieve her Master Cat level. Fingers crossed.

Yesterday evening I'd got the 6 cats in from the pen and suddenly there was an almighty crash from the kitchen and 4 cats came running in and scattered in all directions. The toaster, which is kept on top of the fridge-freezer was on the floor and my ceramic tea canister was broken in pieces on the worktop. A toilet roll which was on top of the worktop was on the floor in Kobi's water bowl. The culprit? - Blackberry! She likes to climb on top of the fridge-freezer to sleep on top of the place mats that I keep up there. Definitely living up to the naughty-tortie tag.

Our vet from the start told us put down a dish of dry food cats like to graze whenever they need and bless moonbeam that's what he does a few little snacks over the day and night and holds his weight at 6kg might drop a little now and again but never goes over

The photos of Mikila are gorgeous mistyanna. She looks like a cross between my Willow and Kali. She is absolutely beautiful. Is she a big cat? I remember you saying there's some Maine Coon in her.

Sheโs definitely bigger than the average cat, but I donโt know how she compares to a full Maine Coon
