Cats are so good at dozing & letting you know with descriptive yawns that you have disturbed their rest!

I had to take Kali to the vets on Friday for her booster and check up. I had to pick up my daughter and her boyfriend from her boyfriend's house to take them to work first. I had dropped my daughter off and had about a milt to go to drop her boyfriend off when a horrible smell filled the car - yes, Kali pooped in her carrier. I had to open the windows wide and my daughter's poor boyfriend couldn't wait to get out of the car! I then parked the car in Asda car park, got in the back of the car, got Kali out and sat her on my lap and held her there while trying to clean everything out of her carrier with my other hand and put it in a carrier bag. Luckily I'd put lots of newspaper and kitchen roll under her blanket. When I got to the vets the receptionist, veterinary nurse and vet were all there waiting and I just said "I have one smelly cat, sorry." The vet gave the carrier to the nurse to clean out and they put her blanket in a bag for me and a new paper pad in the bottom of her carrier. Nice start to a Friday morning for them.

Those are the things we can do nothing about but wasn't vets great that was able to help u out as well how did vet visit go All was well at the vets. I was worried that the vet would say Kali had put on weight but she was a bit lighter - not surprising after what she did! The vet just said to not give her many cat biscuits as they have 4 times more calories that wet food.

I am entering Blackberry in a cat show again this year on 25th January. I sent off my entry form and cheque in December. I was waiting for my confirmation to come back to me but nothing received. I phoned the show manager on Friday evening and she hasn't received my entry or cheque. The show entry date closes on Wednesday 8th so I scanned my copy of the entry form and emailed it to her. I don't do internet banking so rather than risk sending another cheque my kind boss let me make the payment by BACS through the work's bank account. I've just had a confirmation email that all was received. If I hadn't phoned it would have been too late by the time I was wondering why my show book hadn't turned up. I've got to check my bank statement regarding the cheque - nobody should be able to bank it other than the cat society.

I use a variety of dried food spider - Go Cat, Royal Canin Fibre Response, Royal Canin Maine Coon and Royal Canin Urinary, which is the light variety. I think it's just that I can control how many biscuits Kali eats but not how much wet food she eats.
