The vet just phoned me regarding Kobi's lump between his toes that a sample was taken from. She said it's nothing nasty and I can pick up some steroid ointment from the vets later on. She doesn't think the lump needs to be removed and it was probably caused from a thorn, cut or tick and it got infected and grew and grew. Hopefully the steroids will sort it out. I've got to take him back to the vet after 2 weeks.

I've been putting the steroid ointment on Kobi's lump on his paw since Friday but there's no difference. I don't think there's an infection in it. I'll make an appointment to see Elliot the really good vet in a week or so if there's no improvement.

It took a few days for the steroid cream to work on Roman's neck lotsofcats, so hopefully Kobi will soon be responding to the treatment.

Kobi's lump has become a bit smaller. I've stopped putting the ointment on because it was only for 2 weeks. In the last couple of days I have ordered online for Kobi:
Leucillin antiseptic spray as my neighbour borrowed my other one Johnson's antibacterial cream Johnson's antibacterial powder Ear drops Canaural ear cleaner
He's in a sorry state! He's scratching his ears, his legs, his tail and apart from his usual lumps and bumps he now has bald patches on his tail, his back legs and his feet!! He's had his flea treatment so it's not that.

Have you changed his food at all lotsofcats? Or now that the gritters are out in force, maybe he's developed and allergy to the grit and salt mix they use on the roads. Hope Kobi is feeling better soon.

How's Kobi doing lotsofcats? Could it be a reaction to the cream or its stopping?

How's Kobi doing lotsofcats? Could it be a reaction to the cream or its stopping? It's just something he does now and again, once he starts scratching something he's obsessive and it gets out of control. He's a bit better and not scratching so much so I hope that his fur grow back quickly. I told him I'm buying him one of those spray dyes for doing hair roots to cover his bald patches!

Glad to hear he's improving

Poor Kobi hurt himself yesterday running after his ball. He caught his dew claw and bent it at a funny angle. I've bandaged it up and we'll see how it is tomorrow, and whether he should go to the vet.

Ouch poor Kobi, thats gonna be very sore bless him. Beau has done that at least 4 times , shame the claw grows back . Hope hes ok [ That does look painful for beau scallywag . I've never seen a dew claw twisted around like that, then again none of my dogs have been chewers. Oh , he never chewed it boxerluver30 hes ripped that chasing and grinding to a halt ( after his ball ) the last time this happened he chewed / licked it and it came off rather than a vets job

Did a good job of it too. 2019-02-17 23.42.14 by Cazypops, on Flickr And this was what it looked like a couple of days later. 2019-02-18 18.17.30 by Cazypops, on Flickr
