Tagging is simple and easy to use. It's also a powerful tool in drawing users attention to a specific user, or calling a user to a specific post or thread to contribute or read. You can tag someone using the button on the reply page, or by typing out (@) and the username of the person that you wish to tag. Remember to use no spaces, and make sure you use the username and not display name.

The point of tagging is that the user that you tag receives a notification in their profile (if they have the notification on). This allows you to tell the user that you would like them to notice a specific post, or want to give another user a direct link to the tagged members profile.
