gladys: Cooper is amazing! GO COOPER, GO!
In the Q&A section, I found the information on page 62 to do with the puppy with the bladder problem quite interesting - Reason being, when Tilly was a puppy, she was adsactly the same.. constantly leaking! When we took her to the vets, she had a dye test and x-rays to see for any blockages. The vets said that her pipes were not developed properly (found an abnormality in a tube, or something like that) and that over time they would improve. 6 years on, she has improved LOADS. She still has the odd blip once in a while. In regards to the answer in the mag, it says that the only treatment is an operation.. is that at that moment in time? If the pup did not have the operation, would it constantly leak for the rest of its life, or over time grow out of it? Would be great if there was a bit in the magazine about this with some more information bectil

Thanks everyone, glad you enjoyed it. Cooper isn't very fast at the mo. His snoring his head off in the sun!!! @sophieyourdog Just finished reading the May issue. Really enjoyed it, as usual. I did find the article 'Dogs who love to much' interesting but felt that it ended without giving you any real advice if you found your dog/dogs were over-dependent.

HI gladys and BorderTerrier, the 'Dogs who love too much' is the first installment of a two-part series, so catch the June issue for the second part which gives more advice about how to deal with the issue.

"Where To Stay"
I found it interesting that the Dog friendly advertisers where in fact only dog tolerable.
Surly if they hoping to attract holiday makers with dogs then expect them to conform to rules that are NOT dog friendly they are setting themselves up for a fall.
They state they are dog friendly & make an extra charge for the dog.
Therefore they should expect the extra cleaning involve after we leave....Not try an rip us off for cleaning charge.
