Because he loves me? Because I taste nice? To relieve stress? Because mum used to lick the pup? Etc?? Earl licks me a lot. There's so many answers from different people on that page of the magazine, I don't know which one to believe!! Oh and well done Orpheous and Caz - you made the page!

Woody licked the blood of me when I had a cut it was kinda weird..xD. But yeah maybe it's just the taste of the salt they like. Also I think it's also something to do with identification a bit similar to how they use scent.

Jasper licks hands if you've been eating something nice and will nearly nibble your fingers sometimes! However, other times he will just sit and lick your hands while he gets a stroke, I think this is like a stress reliever/calming for him, he starts doing a little grunty noise and squints his eyes until they're nearly closed. It's quite cute. His breath smells a bit though lol!

Our last assistance pup we puppy walked, Skye, liked to lick you, especially if she got excited. She was a Flat Coat Retriever, and that breed tends to lick people, it's one of their little quirks Amber rarely licks, only if you have been touching her treats! Holly likes to lick people's faces sometimes, I heard before it's their way of greeting their pack leader? Licking them on the face - which is also why some dogs try and jump up when you come home (so they can lick your face)?!

That could be true, if the pack leader stuff was scientifically correct I neber knew that about Flat Coats! Never seen a Flat Coat Assistance dog though! Theyre beautiful dogs

Holly is the same.......but Amber will come and sit at your feet so you can pet her They don't normally use Flat Coats as assistance dogs but Skye was donated by a breeder so they took her on. She was totally different to a Labrador/Golden Retriever (which are the breeds they normally use) She's in advanced training at the moment though and seems to be doing well!

Cooper licks my hands and legs but his favourite is to get your chin while doing his excited bum wiggle dance. And being a smoochie faced boy if his really excited and if your really lucky you get a little bit of snot too. It's lovely.
