I do like the look of the new Natures Menu Country Hunter range though and I'm definitely planning on trying some of their treats. Those are fantastic to use as treats. We just bought some of the "Mixer" without the freeze dried raw bits to use as treats as Finn likes crunchy things and they LOVE them. Probably going to get the mixed one next time. The girl in Pets Corner (she feeds raw - yay!) said that there's no point in buying the small treat packs because it's exactly the same as the food as works out far more expensive

I used Natural Instinct for a long time, but when they changed hands the quality of the food did seem to go down. I noticed it got a bit more sloppy and smelt a bit weird. Not sure if anyone else experienced that but it put me off. I'm considering switching to Nutriment from Nurturing by Nature because supplementing is doing my head in!! Just need to work out if it's an option price-wise... I was talking to some Frenchie owners who feed Nutriment and apparently the owners are the ones who owned Natural Instinct before it changed hands! They are apparently giving out discounts to their 'returning' customers!

I'd like to stop the kibble completely to be honest. I've been thinking about it for a while now and then read this the other day when one of the forum members here posted it on their facebook: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2546512/How-pet-food-killing-dog-feeding-parsnips-yoghurt.htmlI always remember how much Bernie loved his tripe and he does prefer his wet over dry food. I shall have a look at all those links orpheous87 thank you. For some reason the only company I could think of were Natures Menu... Have you used them before? lol call me paranoid but isn't the author just wanting to sell their own food? Honeys

Might consider that then! Although my problem is, I'll have to buy it online because I'm almost positive the P@H stores near me won't have that range in. They don't have a massive choice of NM as it is. petitsfilous I don't know how true it is about the discounts, but they are the same people who were at NI before the changeover. I do know that if you don't want to feed vegetables, you can ask them to make some up with just meat and offal. caz2golden I did think the same thing! Although, to give him credit, he doesn't actually recommend his own food over everything else!

orpheous87, I've only ever seen it in Pets Corner. I was really shocked at the difference in quality of their treats compared to P@H - they stock a much larger range of the higher quality treats!

We don't have a Pets Corner near here so I have no choice but to go to P@H if I want to actually go into a pet shop We don't even really have any independent pet shops round here. Our town one isn't the best. It just sells the normal ranges, nothing fancy.

Thought you loved it there petitsfilous! Has something in particular happened? I must say, I much prefer Pets Corner. They have a bigger range of treats and foods that I'm interested in, and the staff just seem more friendly and helpful (not including you in that PF! )

The company is TOO big and gets a lot of bad press. Sick of my manager mainly. He's definitely getting two fingers when I leave. lol. I'm entitled to 6 months paid leave and just have to give notice if I have no intention of coming back
