Well I have put forward my hours that I would like to change - Wednesday 8-3:30pm so hopefully my hours would be - Monday- 8-4pm will be getting a receptionist to work 8-6 and it means I could be home at a reasonable time. Tuesday- off Wednesday- 8:- 3:30pm Thursday- 11:45 - 6:pm Friday- off I will just have to see what they say. meandmine I’m so pleased hubby is home , but it will take him some time to fully recover. When I got Covid the first time it proper wiped me off my feet and left me with this horrible chest and constant cough and I didn’t have any underlying health problems. The main thing is he’s home and he can now just take his time to recover and lots of TLC 🥰sending hugs x Any progress chantel

How's oh scallywag did I hear you mention a carer ? Have you got some help ? From October my hours will be - Mon - 8-4 Wed - 8-3:30 Thur -11:45 - 6 . I'm having periods of training on learning some of the reception managers work, but it's difficult because we are short staffed but she doesn't leave until October so we have plenty of time, it will be easier once we know how many hours of reception will need covering, obviously some of my hours , we can then get a new receptionist.

It's not good that you have to pay but if it gives you a bit of a breakand a helping hand scallywag it is worth it.

The news of the attack in Southport was most unpleasant but when my cleaner came today he told me that one of the supervisors in the company is the grandmother of the 7 year old. Not sure whether I have ever met her but I'm sure that we've spoken over the years I've been using the company. It certainly brings it closer to home!
It was interesting TV reporting on the subsequent violence between the local BBC evening news & their national news broadcast. Despite the local having a longer segment there was no mention in it of the 3 police dogs who were also injured along with the 53 police officers, I heard about the dogs in the national news albeit briefly.
This whole horror shows the power of social media & its ability to be manipulated to suit the interests of individuals or groups. I just hope that now the boy who has been charged with the knife attack has been named that his family are also being supported as well as those of his victims' family & friends. Of course we currently don't know & won't for some time yet, if ever, the reasons behind the attack but he is their son.

It makes it more personal when you know of someone related to what happened tonib. Yes, there was only a passing mention regarding the 3 police dogs injured. I totally agree with your last paragraph. The power of social media can be good, but this is the bad side of it.

It was just awful , I wonder why 🤷♀️I didn’t see the bit about the police dogs been injured . I wonder what on earth the boy’s parents are thinking 🤔 Yes social media has a good side but also a negative side , things get posted on facebook even before the victims relatives have been told, it can be very devastating 🥲it’s a very sad world we live in today . Like you say tonib let’s hope the victims relatives/friends and the boys family get the support they need.

Probably for their own protection. Someone in our local has a niece who was involved too.

I suspected they would be cazypops but all the news on support was for the victims' family, friends etc. no mention of the attacker's family. Sorry to hear that someone you know niece was involved, hopefully she is OK.
