I only knew of the order through the doctor method didn't know the pharmacy can order them from the doctor for you but I get a text from the pharmacy when the order has been processed by them, its usually quite quick but occasionally they've had to order one of the 3 in, just pot luck how their stock has gone on a particular day.

Theres a pharmacy in the next village ( Newport ) that offers this service , my aunt uses it . I still gat given my repeat part of the prescription back when l collect our meds. And in 10 days l tick what l want and put in a box at Boots.

Only thing is with the pharmacy I used is that they delivery earlier than the 4 weeks. I got home from work yesterday to a delivery. Not due until Tuesday. They got the order right this time though, no Volarol, no Fostair inhaler and no other inhaler as I have lots of each. One time I phoned about the Fostair inhaler being delivered after I'd told them I didn't want them until further notice - yes, I know, the woman said, it's down on here. It was also on a sticker on my bag of medication! and they still put one in.

I request my medication online then collect from pharmacy when I have received a message from them to say the prescription is ready to collect. The problem I’m having my fostair inhaler is not yet on my repeat list so I have to write down the request and drop it into the surgery- I did this on Monday and I have checked with the pharmacy and they have still not received a prescription. I have requested it a couple of weeks earlier than needed because it’s taking at least 2 weeks for me to receive this item but if it’s not the due date they won’t issue it ☹️they will only issue 1 week early Grrrrr 😡 It’s so frustrating- I even requested 2 fostair inhalers last time so I don’t run out but only I only received 1 🙁

Happy anniversary lotsofcats, hope you & Hubby are having a nice celebration. That painting of Kiba-Khan must have been a lovely anniversary gift from scallywagGood grief scallywag I hadn't realised/remembered that you'd been doing the painting for over 2 years ( I looked back at the start of the the thread!), doesn't time fly from a watchers perspective although I suspect you are only too well aware of the time you have spent doing all the lovely paintings!

Sorry scallywag I wasn't referring to that painting had taken 2 years it was meant to be that you'd been painting various ones for 2 years. Your first one on the thread was of Beau in March 2022. Sorry my phrasing confused you, well that of course is like me

Thank you all for the Anniversary wishes. We didn't go out, just had a nice steak dinner - I have a thing about steak. I haven't had my present yet. Had a big slushy card - I don't usually get one.
