It was only the other day, scallywag, that I said to my hubby, "I'm sure they used to make a red Bounty, which was the dark one.🍫 I remember because my dad always had the dark one, and he used to get me the blue one, which was milk chocolate, because I didn't like dark chocolate." I haven't eaten it yet though , I might indulge when I have been to the gym later . |

We have got someone coming tomorrow to plaster the bedroom wall , so I might have to sleep in the spare room tomorrow night , not sure what Freddy will think about that ( it's freddy's room now )
I'm going to see what the wall is like tomorrow night - hubby doesn't think it will be good on my chest with it being damp.
The roofers should be coming back to re seal the guttering some time this week, and then hopefully we can get the decorator back once the plaster has dried properly.

Well a very wet and a miserable day today.☔️I was hoping to take the pooches a walk before I leave for work and before the Guy comes to plaster the bedroom.
Don’t think there’s much chance of that , I’m in a hour earlier today and tomorrow but at least I get Friday off 😀

Don’t think there’s much chance of that , I’m in a hour earlier today and tomorrow but at least I get Friday off 😀 No scallywag the roof isn’t leaking now it’s the wall above the curtain rail on my side that was covered in mould and damp , and rotten. The guttering on the outside should have been lined and then painted but the plasterer went up yesterday and had a look for us and it doesn’t look like it was lined when they did the new roof , they only painted it , so when the roofers eventually come out hubby will be having that argument with them😡 |

Well we have a new plastered back wall now , it looks so much better, and he even touched up little bits around the bedroom and did all around the window frame.
So it just needs to dry out properly now before papering.
We should have been having it done next week but we are going to give it chance to dry out properly and hubby is having his surgery Monday so wouldn’t be able to move the bed forward and I can’t with my back.
The plaster wasn’t too damp so we didn’t invade Freddy’s room 😻

They stopped doing the dark choc bounty much to my disappointment I hadn't realised that they had stopped the dark chocolate bounty scallywag  My favorite as well. I know I was finding them harder to find but hadn't been to the shops where I could get them for quite a while. According to reports its only a temporary issue but no-one seems to believe that. Oddly the link to this BBC sounds broadcast came into my inbox today Is the global chocolate market under threat? Haven't listened to it yet but .. will later. Its about 20-25 minutes long. Shows how long it is since I had an Easter egg, I got myself one from Sainsbury's (I think). It is/was a hollow dark chocolate egg with orange bits. I had great difficulty trying to prise it open & eventually it broke open rather messily. Luckily the cats weren't around & I had to find somewhere to store the various sized pieces, making sure I'd got the ones (luckily not many) that had landed on the floor so that the cats wouldn't get them, checking under the coffee table & sofa as well!!! There must be an easier way to open them. If the egg had contained anything they would have gone every where as well!! Still what I've had so far is tasty  |
