I went to Asda last night to do my big Christmas food shop - what a waste of time! I spent less money than I normally spend on my usual week's shop. No joints of beef or legs of lamb, no sausages, just empty shelves and we just about found some packets of bacon at the back of the shelf. Just as well we bought a nice joint of beef when it was on offer a couple of weeks ago and put it in the freezer.

This is the first time I've managed to come on here this week, been busy/tired every other day and fallen asleep before venturing over here so I must have missed the log in issues!
Neck pain has pretty much gone now, thankfully. Had another go with the foam roller the other day after a day in the office.

I also went to Asda yesterday evening lotsofcats and I always treat us to a ready made curry, but the fridge was practically empty. Plus I only go to Asda for bits as I do all my main food shopping at Aldi and it costs double to get my bits than it does at Aldi. |

Plus I only go to Asda for bits as I do all my main food shopping at Aldi and it costs double to get my bits than it does at Aldi. Oooo last night we had a lovely Chicken Tika Masala compliments of Aldi , first time l tried theirs , far nicer than Waitrose x |

Oooo last night we had a lovely Chicken Tika Masala compliments of Aldi , first time l tried theirs , far nicer than Waitrose x I sometimes get the Jalfrezi form Aldi, and it's lovely, but it's for 2 people and as I prefer the Jalfrezi and OH likes Tika masala Asda is a better bet, plus the Asda one come with rice and I can't seem to get pila rice for 2 at Aldi. But the large garlic breads are yummy. |

Omg never again scallywag 🙈I had an horrendous afternoon at work 🙈I came home picked hubby up and went straight to Asda . The shelves were empty, no sprouts , no potatoes 🥔 although I did manage to get a Turkey (frozen) we seemed to buy less but it cost me £70.00 I did have a £30 voucher to use but for some reason when I tried logging into my Asda account it said I was locked out ,so I was fuming 😡 we didn’t even have a good shop it was just food for Christmas dinner and a few more bits . I have got my account sorted now so it will go towards my new year shop if they have any food left on the shelves. I normally get my fruit and veg from the local farm shop its £15.00 for a mixed box of fruit and veg but it’s all freshly grown produce and it normally lasts me well into the new year. what a stressful day and a anxious week with Riley but thankfully 😅 he seems ok , so time to chill out now. |

Had to take my daughter's boyfriend to work this morning so braved the shops again. It wasn't too bad as we went quite early.
Went to visit M.I.L. in hospital this afternoon. She was happy to see us. She should have gone for a brain scan yesterday, but the ambulance didn't turn up. Hubby's sister waited 3 hours at the hospital for it.
My sister phoned me to say our cousin died yesterday. He was suffering from Parkinson's and had a fall, and died from a bleed on his brain. He was 80.

So glad I managed to get all of my shopping done on Thursday. Well all except and apple pie for tomorrow night that I forgot to get, so managed to pick one up at Morrisons today. |

Glad M.I.L was pleased to see you lotsofcats but really sorry to hear about your cousin, that’s really sad and especially at Christmas time. Sending hugs xx My Aunt phoned me this morning to let me know my cousin had broken her wrist🙈she was walking her dog and he was spooked by an inflatable Santa 🎅 that blew down someone’s drive with this terrible wind 💨 She went to minor injuries but the waiting time wasn’t so bad - she was in and x-rayed and back home within 3 and a half hours. She is now all plastered up 🙈looks like my Aunt will be doing all the cooking then 🤣 |
