M.I.L. had a fall, her daughter found her on her knees on top of the stairs and she had to phone for hubby to go down and pick her up. She then fell in her bedroom again in the night. She can't walk on her foot and was dragging it behind her. I didn't think she was looking very good yesterday. She had an x-ray on her hip when she went into hospital and hubby's sister has asked for them to x-ray her foot today. She was 92 3 weeks ago.

Hi Guy's I'm back! Sorry to see you M.I.L. is in hospital lotsofcats. Did she have the X-ray done on her foot? scallywag, I hope both you and OH is feeling better now. I pulled/twisted a muscle in my ribs about 3 weeks ago and I'm still in pain with it. It affects me most when I'm trying to put the car in reverse gear as it's on my left side.

Sorry to hear about your M.I.L lotsofcats. Hopefully the x-ray is helpful. It sounds like we're all falling apart on here. I've been in pain after somehow hurting my neck while I slept last week. Thankfully I have a foam roller that helped manipulate it into not hurting quite as much. But I also found driving difficult as I couldn't turn my head to the right.

I hope your pulled muscle gets better soon cazypops. I can definitely sympathise as I pulled a muscle in the top of my right arm about 6 weeks ago and it's still not better. Last week I then had my Covid jab in the same arm, which made it a lot more painful. Hope your neck gets better soon orpheous87. Not heard the results on M.I.L.'s x-ray yet. She's having a brain scan on Friday to find out what type of dementia she has. The doctor said the reason she can't walk is because part of her brain is dying off and she won't get it back. The hospital have say on what happens to her care and will now have a meeting with a social worker to get a care package in place. This won't get done until after Christmas, so she's in the hospital for the unforeseeable future, bless her.

Ouch, vaccination ache on top of pulled muscle pain Hope your arm has eased now lotsofcats. After 6 weeks is there any sign of the pulled muscle improving? Still painful but definitely starting to ease a bit. I keep pulling it awkward in the night.
