I was thinking of getting Freddy 🐱a heat pad for christmas - has anyone tried them and if so which one ? It was just a thought for chtistmas for him .

Belated Happy Anniversary chantelAs to heat pads I've had a couple of Snugglesafe microwave pads for years (looking back I bought them in autumn/winter 2012), even bought a Cat Cushion for it although that had some weak stitching & I seem to remember I had my money refunded by Zooplus. The heatpads & their normal covers are still fine, although I haven't got them out this year yet. Snugglesafe have their own website & are also available on Amazon & Petsathome amongst others. They worked well but were a bit hard (which I why I originally bought the cushion) but put under a cat bed or some blankets they are great. In 2020 I bought a couple of Wheatybag microwave heat pads, again good & more flexible. wheatybags.co.uk/products/wheat-bags-pet-heating-padthey also sell on Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/WheatyBags-Warming-Microwave-Cotton-Fabric/dp/B07D5BDW6PNot much difference in price depending on which shipping option you choose. I've also had a doughnut cat bed with a removable microwave heatpad but the bed wasn't popular, none of the cats liked a doughnut bed! The self heating blankets have been popular in the past, can't remember where I got them from, possible Pets at Home or Zooplus but had them a while. chantel, Ajax uses electric heat pads for her cats but I haven't been able to ask her which she has but I'll see if I can find out tomorrow.

I bought several of the Snugglesafe pads years ago and have another 2 ordered. I particularly want one for Toffee in the cat pen at night, but it's hard to predict where he will sleep. Don't laugh, but hubby uses one in the bed and has done so for years! It stays warm until the morning.

I saw one on amazon it included 1 medium sized one and a small one which i thought would be ok for the pigs.
But i will have a lòok at pets at home this morning first.

🥲 currently sitting here in the dim light , power shortage since 6pm judt as l put chicken in the oven. Lights that do work are very very din, lots of rooms lights do NOT wirk at all , no heating , no TV , no nothing, fortunately ipad and mobike were fully charged and l had bought a new tirch operated with proper batteries , not tirches that need re charging , and charge runs out begire you get to jeed to use them, so thm , off l go for couple more tirches , lots of batteries , etc . Only real light we had were the littke faury lughts battery ooerated , abd you know what , l aint even gonna attempt to check the spelling , of this pist , done in hakf light x 🫣🤣 since
