Like others have said before, look after yourself first, you'll need all your strength for when he comes home.
Look on this time as respite, and try and relax when you get home. By the way, I hope the hospital canteen served good food if you're staying there all day.

We have been having problems with Elsa sleeping at night she’s becoming very anxious during the night time 💤she goes up to bed fine but then sits upright in her basket panting, licking, scratching at her bed 🙈I have even swapped her basket and given her Riley’s old basket 🧺 I thought the smell of Riley would help but no 🙈we have been getting about 2 hours sleep a night 💤
Last night we had 2 police 👮♀️ officers turn up asking if we had got any footage on our blink door camera because a couple of nights ago someone tried to break in to next door ( he was wearing a black balaclava 🙈apparently the police have been called out several times last week to burglaries up our road .
I’m so glad we had new windows and door’s recently and put up a blink door camera .
I think now that Elsa heard someone trying our back gate - she sleeps in the corner underneath my little bedroom window 🪟 it all makes sense now bless her.
When we go to bed she is fine but then after about 40 minutes wakes up very anxious 😕 panting , scratching and licking - I tried several things - calming tablets , calming spray but nothing works 🥲last night she lied down the side of me and I put my hand on her she was a little better.
We had a look on our cameras but nothing ☹️

Good grief chantel, that's not pleasant to know about the burglaries in your road, attempted or otherwise, & that there are no more. It does give a possible explanation for Elsa's behaviour though. Glad to hear she was a little better by you last night. I presume Riley didn't react at night at all? Hope you can get some better sleep. |

Oh dear scallywag, I'd gone to bed an hour before you were up - sorry How's things going? No worries lotsofcats was also on but I think she missed me messaging her and posting in the chit chat as we never got to chat  All as well as can be. I am soooo tired , even now I am struggling to keep eyes open but if I nap then I will mess up tonights sleep even more. I did a couple of hours painting ( just put it down ) twas a black and beige day , here there and everywhere, not just painting in one spot. |

Hope you can get an early night and sleep all the way through. It's a massive strain keep going back and forth to hospital visiting. I'm a terrible visitor too as I never have anything to say.  |

Yes cazypops Riley sleeps in our bedroom at hubby’s side so he probably wouldn’t have heard anything Elsa sleeps at my side very close to the window which is above our back gate but nothing picked up on the cameras🙈she just doesn’t seem to settle now 🙈we must have only been in bed for about 20 minutes when she started panting , licking,scratching 🙈😴 |
