Its official .. The world has gone ta pot. N.S.I are dropping their savings rates my monthly pension boost of Ā£257 is now Ā£2.07I got an email today from my bank saying my interest rate is changing. It's going from 1.50% to 0% The next thing will be I have to pay them for being able to use my money . Thats whats predicted cazypops , papers say a negative rate is on the cards im getting 0.01% theres been uproar on the Martin Lewis forum about the drop from 1.16 cause NSI really promoted this and loads of people moved to them in the past couple months , loads are saying they are taking their money OUT AGAIN. NSI announced a rate drop back a few months ago but did a 360 degrees turn and cancelled the drop! Im hoping things will change again now the government are doing another rescue plan after furlough finishes , cause it was the government who told NSI to bring more money in

If I could find another bank who will pay me interest I take my money else where, and if everyone did that they'd be up the creak so to speak.

Thanks for the reassurance all, Ziggy has forgiven me now and is doing absolutely fine thank god:) I suppose youāre right that I wasnāt to know, but Iāve definitely learnt a valuable lesson about putting anything in her that isnāt made for cats! That was our first trip to our new vets too, not ideal but ah well Still waiting on our WiFi to be switched on at our new house hence why I have been rather inactive on here, but hope youāre all well!

Little bit of a rant from me today, I'm having such a nightmare trying to find a place to rent that will allow Ziggy to live there I have been searching for at least a month now, and I move out on Monday and still haven't found a place. Not sure if it's estate agent's who are assuming landlords won't take pets or if the landlord's have told the estate agent specifically that they won't consider them, but as soon as I mention a cat they shut me down and lose all interest in helping me find a place. I'm at a total loss of what to do at this point I've just finished uni but I can't apply for jobs until I'm settled in the town I'm going to be living in, as if I don't find anywhere I'll have to stay in my mum's old house, 2 hours away, on my own (which is a bit of a sad thought). Gahhh!! Having just read this ( not sure how I missed it ) but sounds like you found a place in the end ? Did you suss out who was deterring cats , owner ? Or estate agent

Had another panic on Sunday morning, Ziggy vomited a couple of times so of course despite being over 24 hours since the tea tree incident I panicked and phoned the emergency vet, thankfully it was just me panicking and after numerous tests they said she is absolutely fine, thank goodness! Glad I was sitting down when they told me my bill came to Ā£530, but itās worth it to know sheās okay:) not sure why she was sick but weirdly my boyfriend and I were both sick that morning too, but all three of us are fine now, is there a stomach bug cats and humans can both get or was it a coincidence? scallywag yes we managed to find somewhere in the end thank goodness! I think the problem with pets and renting seems to be whether the landlord owns the property freehold or leasehold and what the contract is if itās a leasehold? Mind you it took me about 5 firm emails to get the estate agent to get them to actually check with the landlord if cats were allowed at the place we ended up getting, so they seemingly donāt help. I really like where we are so Iām glad I persisted! Ziggy has settled in wonderfully

I was outside with the girls this morning, and I took their leashes off because I was supervising them in the yard, when my neighbours cat comes up out of nowhere! Before I could even react, Avi being Avi ran directly at him and started sniffing him, he didnāt hurt her but I could see he was totally confused. Mikila didnāt really appreciate that though lol.

Sounds like your neighbour's cat got a lesson in friendliness from Avi mistyanna Does he belong to the neighbour with the horses?

Nope, not at all. Avi just has no limits. She sees another cat and goes ācat?? Iām a cat too! Letās be friendsā sadly, most other cats do not think that way.
