Thank God Wainwrights have brought out cat wet food.
I took on 2 Burmese kittens who are now coming up for 2 years old. Hattie is fine but her big brother, Milo, is a bundle of allergies. He nearly died whilst being castrated and has been diagnosed with feline asthma and we also found very early on that he had some kind of inflammatory bowel condition - the only kitten I know who could pebbledash the hood of a litter tray!!!!
I have struggled with his diet, consulting our vet etc, who advised the Hills diet for sensitive digestions - didn't work! We went through practically every food on the shelves of every pet suppliers - all made him sick or gave him chronic diaorrhea. Although he seemed to thrive, I was getting very tired of piles of puke and smelly litter trays.
Finally we found that he could tolerate Applaws dry food but I do like my cats to have wet food as well. He did seem to be able to tolerate the Iams wet food but didn't partiularly like it so it was just being wasted
Finally, I tried him on the Wainwright kibbles - mainly because they were on offer and I hadn't tried them with him. Success!! Then last month I discovered that Pets At Home were stocking the wet food. I went for it and haven't looked back. I have Milo, Hattie and a 17 year old Burmese, Tutherun, and they are all now settled on the Wainwrights. I can't praise it enough.
My only grief is that you don't do more choice in the pouches as the trays get very expensive for 3 of them. Tuna is the out and out favourite and their bowls look as though they have been washed when that is put down for them.
Thank you and you get a big thumbs up from Milo, Hattie, Tutherun and me.
