Feeling a little out of my comfort zone by posting in the cat section but I wonder if any of you have heard about this yet:
By the end of October, Pets At Home will have introduced their new Wainwrights cat food!
As a colleague I have known about this for a few months now and have been quite excited about it as I personally know how good their dog food is!
Will any of you be tempted to try out this new food and give us feedback?

Well I'll have a look but no guarantees I'll try it as we have some specialist needs here.
Penny - a weight loss maintainance Lexie - IBS control - can eat JWB but not RC (in any quantity) Roman - likes RC but eats JWB during the day so no risk to Lexie Osiris - wet only
By the way is it dried only or is there a wet?

Both wet and dry I've been told. They've changed all the packaging and designs on their dog food too, seems things are going very well for Wainwrights

Not seen any info on it. Is is cereal free? Does it mention anything about having furball control and helping keep urinary tract health? If so I may give it a go but my girls can be quite fussy?!?

May give the wet a try - anything I can find for Osiris would be great!

We're being kept quite in the dark too. Lol they're giving us more info week by week which is keeping it rather exciting 5 weeks to go! Ooh and I've noticed one of the posters in the office saying that it uses sweet potato as a filler... sounds like it's going to be a good food!! And yes, it did say it had cranberries in it to help with UTH/UTI

I'll certainly give the wet a try if it is in sachet of tray form as both cats have different preferences. Flirts =sachet in jelly, and Bandit = trays (terrine) both very fussy. :/ I'll look forward to seeing if they like it as I've just change Jasper over to Wainwrights trays and the first thing I did was to look if they did a cat food too.

I know they're definitely doing trays and I'm 80% sure they'll do pouches too. It's going to be a big thing

Thanks Louise, please keep us posted.

Sounds promising on the wet front - we have a mix of jelly & gravy fans here - not worried whether its trays or pouches just not great pate fans.! What would we do without our cat foibles?

I have been buying the small bags of kibble to use as treats but bought some of the wet trays today.

I tried a couple of the trays when it came out, but unfortunately with no success. I got them for Bandit and she flatly refused to have anything to do with them, so I gave the second one to Flirts to try and again he turned his nose up at it, so back to the old food.

Thanks cazypops, not a great success for your 2. It'll be interesting to see if anyone else has any comments on it.
