for the past 2 days i have been hearing cries of a cat but i thought it was new neighbours cat in area or a territory war.turns out a grey cat is stuck in a shed and door is locked.phoned spca and they will come tomorrow if its still there.i think its been stuck all weekend.there is a mousehole in door and letterbox so i have fed it 2 gravy dinners which it grabbed like mad starving.i think the shed owners may be working or on holiday as everywhere locked up and curtains drawn and maybe not realise the cat was in there amongst boxes. hopefully someone is at home tonight or it will be a rescue tomorrow.i feel bad hearing it crying to be let out.other neighhbours cant help as shed is concrete, jammed windows and a yale lock.

At least you can put food in for it. Have you put some water in there as well? The only good thing is at least it will be warmer than just being locked out?!? Keep us posted.

At least gravy dinner sill help get a bit of moisture into the poor cat. Hopefully the house owners will come back or the spca can get it out tomorrow.
Have you got snow? If so you may be able to put a little of that through through the holes so it can get have some & get water that way. It wouldn't evaporate quickly like water & also a small amount would be accessible to the cat without soaking anything that is in the shed that would upset the owner.
Well done on trying to get help to the cat - Did Ginge alert you?

Don't feel guilty, you're doing the right thing and I m sure the cat will be fine! Keep giving it food and keeping an hear out for it Like Gladys said, have you been giving him/her water? If not, try what tonib said But make sure it is through the whole and not like in the whole if you know what I mean just in case it freezes and then the cat will definitely be stuck AND hungry! -

iv just shouted and its still there.earlier it looked as though it had knocked over a bag of nuts and bolts in front of the hole, so i had to push it back and feed him and tell to other cats outside to shoo until i fed it food and water.one cat chased me all the way home wanting the food. its getting cold.it should keep warm amongst the boxes until morning.i was a bit worried as it was getting quieter when im shouting for it
