Last night, Archie was involved in a little problem in which he hurt his paw. After yelping for a few seconds, I went in and he was just sat on the floor. Both ruby and otto got of their chairs, because they probably shocked. Archie began lifting his paw and growling like crazy, as if he was blaming them for the injury. We got them out of the room, and it Archie some treats and water. He was just sat there and was growling for no reason, but when me and my mum sat on the floor he came straight to us, although he was growling. After checking him over, we discovered that he was fine and could walk well, but he also had a tick. We removed that with no trouble. We let ruby and otto back in and said to them all to go and get a treat. They all went happily trotting into the kitchen and came back as if nothing happened and ever since they were fine. We think he was growling because of the shock and was blaming the first things he saw. When I get hurt or mad, I know it sounds mean but I usually take it out on other people (well not usually but s few times). *i don't want anyone starting an argument or anything please!*

Is he ok this morning?
If so I guess I would say put it down to a strange moment and try not to worry. He perhaps hurt and felt vulnerable (hence the growling and grouchy Archie) until what hurt stopped hurting. Maybe he twisted something and it hurt for a while!
I would watch carefully as it obviously was making him uncomfortable (stiffness etc). If he continues to act out of character or continues to be grouchy, then maybe consider vets next week.
Wish you all the best,

I agree as well, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just keep an eye on him and anything towards the others.

I'm with the others, keep an eye on him, he may be totally fine just watch how he is out and about and if it happens again or he's limping visit the vets.
We all feel grumbly and crappy when we're sore. Hope he's ok

Me 4 with the others; keep a very close eye on him. If you are concerned, call your vet because it pays off as worth it Hope he is alright. I also feel terrible and 'moany' when I am in even the the slightest pain.
