Was very windy yesterday the weather warning for wind was definitely right, very strong long gusts but dry after a wet overnight. Despite the wind it was a sunny day
I kept the boys in, they would have coped with the wind but I wasn't sure how if there would be any risk to injury from anything fallen etc. Also Stevie had been sick after his tea although I didn't know about until I went to give them their supper at bedtime. It looked like a very small amount with a little grass. However the security camera I still have in their room, for checking on them & Lexie, showed exactly when & what happened. It was 3 hours after his tea & and he brought up the lot! The camera also showed that Shady was the reason there was only a small amount when I found it. He really can be a revolting cat!!!! But I suppose he can't be blamed for being an opportunist!
Stevie didn't appear for his supper & I found him hiding under a dining room chair. However he did come out slightly for some treats & eventually come for his supper but he wasn't himself. The next morning I found diarrhoea in the litter tray in the conservatory (off the dining room) hadn't checked that previously as wasn't normally being used. So it made sense to keep him in anyway.
The both seemed normal yesterday other than not appreciating being kept in.

Today is sunny again & still rather breezy but the boys are allowed out.
checked the back garden & the only 2 things I found awry was an empty cellophane bag of spinach - not mine I don't like the stuff round by the shed & an the general refuse wheelie bin (empty) had its lid open but not even any rain in it so I suspect no rain overnight as I had checked them late last night. Often the compost bins get blown off but not last night, thank goodness.

When Kobi was sick in the garden last week I found out about it when I wondered what the jackdaws and magpies were eating - yuck!!! Glad both cats are now fine.

Was quite pleasant when I went out 15C at 4/5 pm Only issue I was driving & the sun was low, a right pain at times, could use the visor to block out when in front most of the time, inclines could cause the brightness to come below the visor, but when needing to look out the side windows when joining a road (motorway) or at a junction I had occasions to hold my hand/arm to block the rays.
