Saturday started off rather dull and cold but came out hot and sunny when I went for a walk with my daughter.

What a horrible humid night. We had a bit of rain in the night and it was filthy rain, my poor car is really dirty. Suns out this morning and ready for another really hot day. I have my aerobics class tonight - that should be pleasant - not!

I have my aerobics class tonight - that should be pleasant - not! Mad woman goes to aerobics in a 30 degree heat , lost hald her body weight in sweat  Sahara Desert sand heading this way in the rain. So they said a couple of days ago Today is still NOT going to be the hottest day , so they are saying. Theres a lot of So THEY are saying isnt there |

It was cool in the church hall where my aerobics class is held, but we all soon got hot. I took an ice cold drink and a towel with me. When I got home hubby laughed at my hair, I looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards.
Having trouble sleeping tonight, Bramble keeps lying on me and she's so warm.

I normally go line dancing classes on a Wednesday mornings & Thursday afternoons both for 2 hour sessions. Wednesday is in Guide Hall which other than windows & doors doesn't have any cooling & can get quite warm,Thursday is in a church hall which has no windows but has ceiling fans. Due to a stinking cold which started on August 21st I & left me with a chesty cough I haven't been to the classes but decided to give today's (Thursday) a go, Wednesday's would have been too much with the added heat. Thursday's is a slightly more gentle class, we break for tea & biscuits! I managed the 1st hour (with the odd stop) but after a biscuit (I take water & forgo the tea!) I decided that I'd had enough, a combination of cold hangover & warmish hall, at least it was cooler in the hall than outside! The car told me it was 29C outside when I left. Hopefully I'll get to go next Wednesday (please let it be cooler & less humid) as I have something else on the Thursday. lotsofcats, I definitely had a bad hair day afterwards, as it was already damp from the doing various things at home before I went & a bit of gentle exercise dancing didn't improve that but somehow I don't think it quite compares with an aerobics class I hope you get some sleep, Lexie insists on sleeping on me but at least does get off when I put my puzzle book down whether deliberately or just falling asleep! I can be quite a restless sleeper, especially in these warm nights & I think she eventually decides it's safer to have her own space  why does hot air have to rise, downstairs is quite cool but upstairs is warm despite the open windows. |

tonib, do you close your window, curtains/blinds in the hot sun? It's much cooler then in the evening and you can open the windows then. I didn't get a lot of sleep. I woke up at 4am and Kobi had pooped all over a kitchen mat. He didn't even ask to go out! so, there I am at 4am, outside squirting water over the mat over the drain to get rid of the poo. When he got up, hubby asked me why I hadn't got soapy water and scrubbed the mat!! at 4am? I told him, he's your dog, you do it. Great that you do line dancing. I hope you're fully recovered from your cold. We've had quite a few cases of Covid, I know of 5, 2 are men from work. It's quite a nasty strain that made them all take to their bed.

Omg it was so hot today 🥵no doggie walk they are just so exhausted with the heat 🙈hubby has been sleeping downstairs in the living room with Riley it’s far too warm in our bedroom although Elsa doesn’t seem to be too bad.
A much cooler day today thank goodness 😅 but thunderstorms have been forecast.
