Been raining on off all day, all cats have been out at various times but Stevie in particular has spent more time than usual in & has been snoozing on the climbers in the same room as Lexie (when she's there) & myself. Shady has been out but seems to time it right or find the shelter as he's only damp when he comes in. If in he's usually found on top of the fridge freezer. I think he finds it a good vantage point as its in the utility so can see the catflap & opposite the door to the kitchen, so can see if anyone doing anything there & also can check on my fridge access & what that might mean for him. Never mind their food is kept in the utility cupboard.
Having said Stevie's been in I think he's just gone out & the rain is really coming down noe - not ultra heavy but definitely wet!

It started off fine yesterday so I put my washing out and then it rained 10 minutes later and continuously for the rest of the day. I hope that August will be better . However, it always rains on my birthday. Thank you! I gave up having a day off work on my birthday. The sun is out today, but forecast says we might have showers - please let my washing dry first. |

Rain Rain Rain ☔️ all night - Elsa started pacing around 7 pm last night so not sure if she heard some rumbles of thunder 🙈☔️she has kept us awake literally all night 🙈licking , panting ,
We are so tired 😴 she is becoming more anxious with noise and I’m sure she’s picked it up off Riley although he was fine last night.
It’s still pouring it down now ☔️

It rained all night here too chantel. We have a yellow warning for thunderstorms this afternoon, covering the whole of Wales and parts of England. I hope Elsa calms down. |

oh dear chantel hope she settles tonight. She probably has picked it up from Riley sadly. We have sunshine here , im hoping we miss the thunder storms |

Thanks Guys I think 🤔 she will have to go to the vets before the dreaded firework 🎆 season 🥲the sedatives didn’t really calm her down last year she just fought it ☹️can’t believe I’m already getting anxious about them we are only in the summer 🙈🙈

Rain returned in the evening , but it never stopped the concert ( Tom Jones ) here at Audley End. Fire works at the end too

Rain arrived here around 7pm once again those poor people booked a concert at Audley End , to be rained on, its August , one expects a warm Summers Night 🤦♀️😵💫
