No hot one for us today. It's very grey. We had horrendous downpours on Saturday (and Sunday) in between the sun. My daughter's boyfriend works in Curry's and on Saturday afternoon it rained that hard that rain came in the shop, Next shop was flooded, as was Dreams and B & Q.

Saturday evening we had quite an impressive Thunder & Lightening storm immediately followed by a heavy downpour, the storm was very close by the almost no lapse of time between the lightening & very loud thunder & the rain was bouncing off the surfaces. It was the first time I've noticed any reaction to thunder in the cats they didn't panic but they were certainly shocked. I think Stevie was on the windowsill at the time, he came off & looked around. Just as well they were being kept in they would have got drenched!
Yesterday afternoon we had more heavy rain after a sunny start. I'd gone out in sandals!! Luckily I was inside Morrisons just checking out my shopping for the 1st one, in the car for the 2nd & again for the 3rd. It was easing slightly when I got to the doors & then I remembered the foldup umbrella in my handbag (I was only wearing t-shirt & jeans). Luckily they were all short downpours so bar slightly damp feet (I avoided all puddles) I stayed dry. The 2nd one I had almost reached the local PAH but was able to find a space just opposite it & so with the umbrella stayed dry. Just as well I didn't wait as they closed within 10 minutes, I thought they were open for another 1/2 hour & I needed the litter.
Raining again this morning though seems to have stopped for the moment.

I wish the weather would make its mind up πI got a long sleeve blouse out for work because it was quite chilly but by the time it was time to leave it was quite sunny π so decided to put a short sleeved top on and when I landed at work the heavens opened π Grrrr π

You can never tell what the weather is going to do at the moment chantel. Yesterday I got home from work and said to hubby that it was the first day without rain for ages. "What are you on about?" he said, "I was on the way back from shopping and the heavens opened". That was really strange as he was coming from the town that is only half a mile from where I work and we had no rain at all!
