I'd like to be a vet... pays well and must be good to work with animals like that.
If not, something that works with animals and earns a good enough wage to get me through life.

I'm currently working as a Groomer, training up but working on the job. Been there for 2 years and enjoying it, busy and frustrating at times but love it. Currently studying a Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training and hoping to run training classes sometime in the future. I'd also like to help rescue dogs that have been let down by other people

Finished school next year, planning to be a vet or vet nurse but I'd like to get some qualifications in nutrition, behaviour and possibly equine.
I'd like to do a lot of things but thats the main one. Grooming and dog behaviour do interest me too, so plenty of options.
I too am doing work experience in a vets. Only 3 days though, but there is an option of doing some days over summer there along with helping out in my horse riding stables.
I'm also selling homemade dog treats and toys next weekend, and hopefully i can keep it up too.

I don't work, I am registered disabled with a terminal illness and breast cancer but when I did work it was always with horses apart from a stint in a factory. I much prefered working outdoors with the horses no matter what the weather threw at us.

I'm also still at school, but I definitely want to be a Zoologist and study wolves. I find them facinating and I think there is so much we can still learn from them.

I went to college for 3 years completed my First Diploma In Animal Care and My National Diploma In Animal Management with the highest grades I was happy with that . And I work at a Residential home as a cleaner. I'll hopefully find a job working with animals soon but there wasn't any available near where I lived.

I'm also still at school, but I definitely want to be a Zoologist and study wolves. I find them facinating and I think there is so much we can still learn from them. Excellant!!! Any species of wolves or the whole range? I'm a big fan of the Ethiopian wolf and the maned wolf (it looks like a fox on stilts!). I am a Vet nurse assistant. This means that I do everything the full nurses do except take blood/ insert catheters/ small operations and nurse clinics. I can still do basic weigh and worm clinics and I often suture up post mortem cases as I'm gosh darn neat! It is a great job but VERY hard work and even harder work for those of you who want to be vets. Trust me...you work for that money you earn! However it is a very good career to have, especially if you learn extra things like orthopaedic operations or specialise in a certain area. I actually wanted to be a zoo keeper and I work as a volunteer for a bird garden. No joy so far on the getting a paid job job side of it but I love my keeper role as aside from handrearing, I do everything else including catching and worming! I still have the hope of doing that but I am also trying to develop a new range of scratching posts, differant from anything else on the market. Work is still in progress! I am quite a busy little bee!

Might I add I'm so jealous of everyone here that gets to work with animals! When I was younger I wanted to be a vet but alas I didn't get the grades needed. i went to uni and studied for applied marine biology but alas didn't get a job in the field. I now work as a manager for a major supermarket, won't say which one incase I get a slagging (neighhh bother lol) and alas I'm still there Along the way I have studied various courses with the open university in database/computer/programming courses. if I could go back and do it all again I would

I'm also still at school! I haven't picked any options yet, we do that in year 9 or 10 and I'm only year 8 I don't even know what I want to do! For my options I will probably pick history, art/music and something else only I don't know what! I don't know what to choose between art and music, I love both subjects! When I leave I will probably want to work with animals, I don't know what I actually want to do though, I know I just couldn't be a vet, blood makes me feel sick :/
