Hi all, It won't let me post any pictures because they are all too big, but the amount of photos I have to share, it will take way too long to resize them all and way too much space to save them all on my laptop as well!! Any advice? Do you think James could make the size limit larger for me? Or will I have to go though the trouble to resize the all, etc? Because I don't want to make an account on photo stock or tumblrr or whatever there called?

Hi, pics are limited to 3meg which already is pretty high. Load time will be affected any bigger and also memory space is a factor too I'm afraid. flickR or Google photos allows mass quick upload and then you can link to them here if there is a lot. We are looking into a photo area on here but not sure when that can happen.

Thanks Your Pet, okay, well I will wait until the photo area happens (providing it does) - I am hoping it does because it will so much easier for me and other people I am sure! Thanks anyway.

I just found this website that does bulk resize and I've tested it out and it works. It will save your resized photos as a zip file and all you have to do is unpack them. www.picresize.com/batch.php

on the last imagine right click to open containing folder and your zip file will be in there and then you can unzipped it and all your resized photos will be in there. Also if you have ACDC or light room or photoshop you can do bulk resize on those.

Thanks for the help all, I will try the picresize, but the thing is, is this means I am going to have all my photos twice!! Which will waste loads of space on my laptop as I like to keep the original image!! I might just make a photobucket account when I have time, it will be easier! Or Flickrr or something!

You only need to resize the ones you want to upload so you shouldn't have a lot of duplication. I do it as I need them. Once they're uploaded you don't necessarily have to keep the resized one on your laptop as if you need to upload it again you could resize again. I use Microsoft Office to compress my pictures rather than resize them. I choose the size for documents rather than web & just save them as another name.

I do recommend Flickr, I've used it 4 years and love it. I don't like the smaller upload photo option, because it takes longer to click to open it, but also, it never accepts my files (they are usually at least 6MB in size). Flickr works well for me and it means I also have them backed up incase anything happens to them.
