well Lil Joe isn't chipped or neutered, Maisie has kind of accepted him, but Tabitha is very wary of him and runs away. She growled at him last night and keeps hissing and running to hide. but she did kiss noses with him. Phoned cat rescue and they are prepared to to him in if things don't work out with the girls. However they are willing to neuter, microchip and first injection for him for a smaller price rather than me paying full price which I thought was very fair considering he isn't their cat. Have to keep them updated then decide when to get him done.. Joe just jumped up and sat there, Maisie hissed and let him sit there. She doesn't even let Tabitha sit with her there. He's a determined little bugger. Went looking for Joe, he's on my daughter's bed with Maisie. I don't think she knows he's there First photo of all 3 together. Feels weird saying that Joe just jumped up and sat there, Maisie hissed and let him sit there. She doesn't even let Tabitha sit with her there. He's a determined little bugger.

Well it looks like you now have three cats to love. Nice to see he is being accepted by the girls, even if it is two steps forward and one back.

Had no response from social media or paper collar so guess he maybe staying. He is a young cat and full of energy, he just wants to play and chase the girls. When Maisie puts her paw up to swat him he thinks she is playing and swats her back. Tabitha growled at him last night and is now hissing at him. Joe and Maisie engaged in playing with an electronic toy last night. He's only been in the house about 4 days so lots of progress to be made.

You've certainly been adopted littlekitty. I like the name Lil Joe Neutering may help the girls accept him even more. Good offer from Cats Protection.

Ahhh he looks very at home looks like you’ve been adopted 😻 yep looks like it. Tonib he is a little sod, he has lots of energy and when Maisie gives him a hiss and a swat he puts his paw up to swat her back, he thinks she is playing. She will take it for a while though before giving him a final warning. Little bit of progress with Tabitha, they kissed noses then he tried to play but she gave him a hiss and he backed down, she won't take any messing being semi feral. Also tabitha was in my bedroom window when Lil Joe jumped in and sat at the other end and even when he approached the bowl of biscuits in the middle of the window Tabitha didn't react. She is still very nervous around him but I think they will settle down, fingers crossed. They have all been in the house together overnight, (girls were in the lounge, Lil Joe on my bed) with no eyes or ears missing. LOL It's not cat's protection that offered to help it is my local independant cat rescue, it's only small and they are struggling with vets bills already, so was really nice of them to offer help.. Going to try and do some sort of fundraiser to help them.

Lil Joe (love the name) knows when he is well off for sure. He is settling in fairly quickly. Very nice of the cat rescue to help out with neutering, the microchip and the first injection. I'm pleased that you are giving him a new forever home - tell him he is one very lucky cat.

I'm pleased that you are giving him a new forever home - tell him he is one very lucky cat. Had a minor setback this morning, he nearly started a fight with Tabitha but I managed to intervene. He also jumped on Maisie when she was just about to jump on the couch, he took her down with both paws around her back just as she was jumping up, and made her squeal. with him being a young cat he has lots of energy and wants to play, maybe if we get him neutered he may calm down, don't want to give up on him yet so going to talk to the rescue to see when I can get him booked in. all 3 last night Tabitha and Lil Joe having treats Tabitha found a new hiding place from Lil Joe, can you spot her.. I went looking for her and after about 5 minutes of calling her name she popped her head up from my daughter's window. I had to laugh.

Yes I think you are right, he needs to be neutered and he will probably calm down a bit them. He's very handsome.

He's very handsome. unsure what to do with him really as he has "attacked" Maisie 5 diffrent times today, making her squeal, some of the time it was rough play. Tabitha has growled at him this morning but both settled in the window, and she has just growled and screamed at him, I don't want to keep upsetting the girls on a daily basis.. He slept in my bed for most of the night whilst the girls were downstairs. Still waiting for the cat rescue to get back to me about getting him done, if his behaviour does persist afterwards will have to think of rehoming him.

I'm glad you are giving him the chance. Fingers crossed he will behave after he's been neutered. It's up to him.

That's a shame, but you have to put the girls first. As lotsofcats says, lets hope he calms down and behaves himself once he's neutered.

He is booked in for tomorrow morning for his operation and microchip. He tried to mount Maisie several times yesterday so had to put him in time out. He seems ok with Tabitha as she growls at him he hasn't bothered her, poor Maisie got a shock when he tried to mount her as she has never had kittens, she is such a diva, but I saw her starting a play session this morning but I have to keep monitoring them. Just hope he calms down after his op.

That's good news that he's being neutered tomorrow. How old do you think he is?
