Poor Kiba-Khan will have to go to the vet tomorrow - he suffers with constipation and I have had it managed quite well for ages but he can't go at the moment and he hasn't eaten anything yesterday or today. I did manage to mix some of the AD cat food for sick cats with some lactulose and syringe it in his mouth. He keeps wandering to and fro the litter tray but nothing is happening. I will take him to work with me and ring the vet from there to get an early appointment. He has been very naughty lately and leaving his food so he hasn't been getting his regular amount of lactulose and Peridale which helps to control his constipation.
I 've had a horrible weekend - I've had a cold with really horrible headaches and then yesterday my washing machine flooded the kitchen while the Sunday dinner was cooking.

Poor Kiba-Khan, hope the vets can sort it out easily - wonder why he's been off his food recently? You've definitely not had a good weekend - hope your cold clears & headaches stop & you can get the washing machine fixed easily. In other words things improve Good luck tomorrow.

I've got an appointment for Kiba-Khan at 20 past 10 this morning so at the moment he is sat on my desk in work in his carrier! He doesn't look ill but he still hasn't eaten or drunk anything and he was in the litter tray 4 times this morning straining and straining bless him. I am feeling much better today, my headaches have gone and the cold is starting to go. I will however have to have a new washing machine - they say it goes in threes - I had the new fridge freezer then the iron had to be replaced a couple of weeks ago and now the washing machine. Luckily on Sunday it was a nice sunny day and very windy because I had to get the washing out of the machine and hand wash it, wring it out and put it on the line - it just had to be jeans, towels and other big things - but they did all dry.

Jenny, sounds like your weekend was like ours, we had to get the plumber out on Sunday due to a overflowing toilet cistern - we knew it was only a washer on the inlet but in trying to tighten it I made it worse! The cistern was filling rather quickly with the extra lot of water! Turned off the water as we couldn't find a tap to isolate the water on the pipe. When the plumber came he showed us the screw om the pipe!!!! (hmm, ever felt an idiot!!) Luckily he had the right washer so we only got charged the call out fee Ah well we know know - mind you he had a bit of trouble turning it off. We'd also had to replace the bulb on the security light at the back on Sunday morning, no problem in Mark going up the ladder & replacing the bulb but could we get it to go on! we tried reseating it, tried another (which we weren't too sure about) but still no joy. So put the first one we tried back & blow me down it worked. You won't believe how many times we'd tried putting it in manual mode or adjusting the sensor settings so that it would come on in daylight!! Glad to hear you were able to get the washing done & dried & your head's better.

Although he was the one who checked for an isolator on the toilet pipes!!
