Blackberry is occasionally constipated tonib. I give here 5ml of lactulose every couple of days in her food and that helps.

Is that human lactulose lotsofcats Freddy has been really constipated after his surgery not sure if it’s anything to do with the pain relief although he’s not had it for about 1 week now so thought things would be getting back to normal. I’v been cooking him carrots 🥕 to add to the wet food. I’m going to try him tonight with some complete .

Yes, it's human lactulose. that's what the vet told me to buy for Kiba-Khan, ever since he was a kitten. If you buy some from the chemist and they ask, don't say it's for a pet. They wouldn't sell me it in Boots. Give Freddy a teaspoon of it in his food once a day unless he's back to normal.

Hope the Lactulose works for Freddy chantel . There was another probable poo from Stevie Monday but no sign of grass in it. So off to the vets we went on Tuesday (11th) morning. On the way there there was a odour beginning to emanate fro the carrier. When I got to the vets I was able to confirm he'd done a poo. Luckily he'd pushed the mat to the back of the carrier so he wasn't in it. I asked if I could clean it up somewhere safe before seeing the vet & they kindly obliged & yes the grass had passed through him now - visible & also a greenish firm poo!!. Saw the same vet as previously who confirmed that there was no poo left in Stevie, so told me to stop the Emeprid, the Nutrabio was already finished & still keep him in for 2 more days. Had to cut some more grass for him (& the others) but not eating so much of it now. One time I was out in the garden cutting grass & I saw Stevie looking out of an upstairs window & he saw mw heading back in. By the time I got in he was downstairs & waiting by the bowl (not the door to get out)!! Definitely not stupid is he? Today (13th) everyone's been allowed to come & go as normal. Stevie been walkabout but according to the tracker had come home whilst I was out this afternoon but he'd gone out again by the time I was back. Lets hope he comes back before his dinner so I don't have to go look for him.
