lotsofcats, I watched it too, it was lovely to see her as a young person & to hear her voice. It was called a memorial & that is just what it was. I rather liked the way the coffin was lifted up out of sight at the end. Even though it was in Dutch with sections in English there a definite reference to Rainbow Bridge & I can picture a lot of cats there running to greet Elly  RIP Elly gone to join her cats at Rainbow Bridge.

My oh my , l was unable to watch live , but l have just finished watching it , lots of tears , what a marvellous lady . I feel privileged to have been able
To talk to her via email and to have exchanged jokes to lighten her day. R.I.P Elly , your fur babies are reunited with their earth guardian xx
I loved that song .. Till the white rose blooms again ❤️

I will be honest I didn’t watch it 🥲too emotional for me - I’m still having down days with the loss of my uncle .
She was a wonderful lady - with her furbaby’s now ♥️xx

We'll meet again was so appropriate & as scallywag said the song Till the white rose blooms again was lovely. Both Roeland & the girl representing the Rome cat rescue/sanctuary Elly supported used a mix of Dutch & English. |

I have now heard the song. I didn't realise it was a Nana Mouskouri song, my brother had lots of her albums. It's a beautiful song.
