Well Mabel has had her hair trimmed today 🐹her hair is just getting thicker each day and started to mat .
I tried to gently brush out the mats last week but she got proper stressed out bless her , I didn’t want to take her to the vets because I know they would have just shaved it all off 🥲
Hubby held her for me whilst I brushed what I could and cut off the mats , I managed to trim and level off her coat so it was all one length.
I normally try to brush them at a weekend but they really do get stressed.

Well I know that there are still ongoing issues with getting items in stock , mainly prescription drugs, but hay omg - sent hubby yesterday to pets at home but no hay whatsoever 🙈he tried 3 different stores but no hay to be found.
He then managed to get some from Cooke’s pets supplies , although no there normal Timothy hay but it will have to do .

Giving the piggies a hair cut made me smile. A zillion years ago I remember the careers teacher asking round the class what each of us wanted to do when we left school. I can just imagine her face if she d asked you Chantel and you d answered a ' guinea pig groomer'  |

🤣now that’s funny 😄 but back to my school days it wouldn’t have been a thing but I bet now that people do actually have their Guinea pigs professionally groomed 🐹😂

I thought I would post a couple of photos of Mabel and Moonlight . After hearing about the piggies that were dumped but thankfully getting taken care of now 🙏and hopefully will find loving homes like they deserve. These little munchkins are proper spoilt little piggies 🥰and loved dearly  |

Moonlight is camera shy and still nervous at time about being picked up but Mabel is a real cuddle bum 🐹  |

Lovely pics of Mabel and Moonlight chantel. I couldn't find an update on the dumped guinea pigs, but they were expecting all of them to be fine after being treated for mites. |

It was our local news yesterday that a crate of cocker spaniels were dumped outside the gate of Sindy’s rescue centre.
They were beautiful all different colours 😢so so sad 😢
I keep trying to persuade hubby for us to get a another Guinea pig because I worry when anything happens to one of them they will be a lone.
but we would need to upgrade their cage and with them being in the spare bedroom it would take up more room.
i will keep trying to persuade hubby though 🤣

Even the piggies are hot in this heat.🐹🐹☀️
They have been spending most of the day in their pen , Mabel has a real thick coat so she is much warmer ..
