Meet Mabel and Moonlight

Not great pictures but just a little update on Mabel and moonlight 🐹🐹
They are 2 spoilt little pigs😂
They both had a bum trim and I managed a quick brush although Moonlight is a real drama queen she hated it lol 😂

Mum please l have a bottom not a bum , how uncouth 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

We have had a bit of a piggy scare this week 🙈moonlight got a piece of hay in her eye - she had her eye closed when I went to feed them 🙈I managed to bathe it with warm water and cotton wool and managed to remove it but her eye went really cloudy ☹️I did a bit of research and read that if the hay scratches the eye it forms an ulcer and causes it to go cloudy which can lead to blindness 🥲I couldn’t get her in at the vets until the next day so I messaged the breeder for advice?
She told me to get some optrex eye drops for conjunctivitis from the pharmacy but to say that they were for myself or the pharmacy wouldn’t sell them to me.
I’v been putting them in four times a day and when I got her out for a cuddle this morning her eye is just about back to normal 🐹she constantly burrows in the hay has you can see but fingers crossed 🤞 I think we caught it in time 🐹
