He been visiting u a good while now but cats that havnt been treated well in the past take a long time to trust but usually they do but from what iv seen not all do I guess it depends on what life they had before they meet kindness That's so true spider. He definitely has a home now, whether it was his original home and he found his way back there during the lockdown, I don't know. He is in such lovely condition now, his coat is beautiful. It was the very end of March last year at the start of the lockdown that he turned up and I guessed him to be about 10 months old at that time. It was freezing cold out last night when Tay turned up at 9pm and Toffee was sat out in the cat pen in the cold waiting for him!! He's mad, I don't think he feels the cold. After I fed Tay I Toffee some chicken and then he went into the cat shed to bed. Willow has got an admirer - that naughty white and black young tom cat that Toffee fights with. Willow sits in the lounge window all evening and suddenly she'll start acting strangely and making funny little noises and when I look out of the window, there's the cheeky white and black cat sat on the other side of the window looking at her! I haven't witnessed him and Tay meeting yet.

I saw both Tay and white and black tom cat yesterday evening. Tay at 9pm and the other one about 9.30pm. Toffee must be very tough as he sat out in the cold for over 2 hours to see Tay and the other cat. It was freezing.

Cats are weird regarding temperature lotsofcats. Lexie hogs a radiator, Roman seems to prefer the cooler (cold) conservatory to being upstairs in the warm at night - although the last few really cold nights I've closed the doors to the conservatory overnight. Osiris wants to go out late evening & from the tracker tends to do a patrol or settles in front of a house in the next close for an hour or so regardless of cold although he's not keen on the wet. It's weird I can walk across the front lawn to the picket fence between me & the path between the closes & call him & I see their movement sensor controlled outside porch light go on & know he's on his way. After a few seconds the Loc8tor starts beeping as he comes into range & then he appears with the blue light on his GPS tracker flashing if I've done a live track using that. The light can also be turned on to constant which can be useful on a really dark night if I've had to go & fetch him as it helps me see the path home (& him as he's so dark) as well as seeing him, or his collar, hiding in bushes.

Great that you have the Loc8tor on Osiris, it certainly gives you peace of mind tonib. Toffee will come into the house in the day and sleep in the warm but at a certain time he jumps up and out he goes, whatever the weather. The other cats will stay in the cat shed part of the pen when it is cold, excepting poor Kiba-Khan the other day, he sat out in the pen crying and shivering. In the end I had to get him in and put him in the dog's crate as Toffee was in the house and hadn't yet gone back out. KK was happy with that. I thought I'd better not leave him out in the freezing cold, especially as his heart is delicate. I haven't seen either Tay or the white and black cat over the last 2 nights (it's been very wet) but Tay's food has gone by the morning.
