I’v had a look at it this morning and it looks a little bigger than before probably a little smaller than a pea size but looks much rounder - I’m not sure if fluid is inside it so maybe it could be a cyst that needs draining 🤷♀️I’m trying not to over think it but it’s hard not too not had much sleep 😴

It was pea sized and they didn't do anything about it. It is now golf ball sized and I wish I'd insisted they remove it at the time. Try not to worry chantel.

Same with Beau , I was told he would get more as he aged. Good luck today , stay safe x

Update on Riley’s vet visit- the vet said it did look like a cyst - it seemed a bit bigger today the size of a pea . Vet popped it with a needle but only water came out looks very much like a water blister now pea size - she sprayed antiseptic on it and said it may fill up again so keep an eye on it and if it gets to the size of a 5pence to take him back and they will either drain it or remove it . She said it wasn’t anything sinister because it wasn’t under the skin. I’m glad we took him just to get it checked I will just keep my eye on it now.

Well as you know Riley has a stiff rt hip and he takes vet-pro joint and mobility with omega 3 supplements which is a equivalent to the nutra Quinn - he has had it from being 7 but his rt hip is a little stiff now and then. He normally has shorter walks now and sometimes has a day of rest if he has had a longer walk.
He had his check up at the vets a few weeks ago and the vet was very pleased with him. She said that if he starts to get pain then there is plenty they can give him e.g - steroid injection/ pain relief medication, I don’t think he is in pain but his left hip has become quite stiff this weekend so he has had a rest day today.
I give him 2 capsules at tea time but have increased it to one tablet this morning and 2 tablets at tea time to see if that helps. I was wondering if there was anything else I could add in with his joint supplements that may help him . Any suggestions anyone 🥰would be very much appreciated x x

Beau was on Arthriaid as was Tobi , after their cruciate opps , but like everything , im guessing they are all much the same .
Probably a good idea to have 12 hour gap as opposed to 24 . Hope you can sort it cc Xx

As you know Jasper get a Catrophen injection every 6 months for his hip dysplasia. I also give him Yumove and now I've started giving him joint chews from Asda.
We use to give our old dog Jess the joint chews and they helped her.

Poor Riley, it's no fun getting older. Kobi has Johnson's 4 joints liquid in his water and he's not yet had any trouble with his joints. It's for cats and dogs and I originally bought it for Kai Ruki.

We used a ' magnetic ' collar on both our previous dogs and neither of them ever had major joint problems .
Kizzy ( cavalier cross) also took a joint supplement and only had occasional stiffness in her back legs, even at the grand age of 14 1/2 years. Nutmeg wore the collar from the age of about ten years and was fairly sprightly right up until she left us.
