I feel so sorry for the animals outside especially the wildlife and your fur babies outside spider it must be terrible for them all😢 I think everyone will be out now buying the fireworks before we go into National lockdown. Feeling very tired 😴 today . Stay safe everyone x

We had loads of fireworks going off on Halloween night. Thoughtless horrible people. It's bad enough when we can prepare our pets for them on November 5th.

We also had a lot of fireworks on Halloween night, but I put it down to everyone having them at the weekend as the 5th is on Wednesday and a school night. Probably have them next weekend too.

Poor Beau. We had lots of fireworks too. I got home from work at 5.30pm and got the cats in straight away as the fireworks had started. I got Kiba-Khan in first as he gets a bit spooked. Kai Ruki was last and he was hiding in the cat shed in the cat carrier so I just shut it and carried him into the house in it. Toffee was outside so I grabbed him and shut him in Kobi's crate in the kitchen and he was happy to stay in there for a couple of hours until I put him in the cat pen. There's a family that live just up the road on the corner and all through the lockdowns they have been very noisy out in their garden drinking with their neighbours. Of course they had to have those really loud fireworks!

Osiris really didn't like the fireworks, typical of him he'd spend the afternoon indoors so really needed the toilet when the bangs started, no way was he going out with that going on along with the misty drizzle. Being his typical litter trained self he did go to the litter tray & used the litter mat! I now have a collection of large PAH litter mats & from experience always check for pin prick holes so all I had to do was pour the liquid, carefully into the litter tray, fold up the mat, take it up to the bath & rinse it off & leave to dry over the bath! Putting a clean litter mat down again. I was dreading having to do it again, but the fireworks did (slightly abate after 9pm & he decided it was OK to go out again. There was one particular large bang early evening which made Lexie (and me) jump but otherwise she wasn't worried ^ neither was Roman, who decided to ensconce himself on a conservatory chair with the radio on & didn't bat an eyelid even though it was probably almost as noisy there as outside. I have wondered about his hearing on the odd occasion but he definitely can hear when he wants to Selective deafness I think. Due to the drizzly/misty weather last night I suspect we'll get more fireworks tonight & tomorrow

Well we had a horrendous night with the fireworks o problem with Riley he was sedated but Elsa was terrified she went out to do her business and a very loud bomb went off and she bolted luckily she was only in the garden - but bless her she was absolutely terrified and inconsolable panting, really fast breathing and they seemed to go on forever but much louder than previous years 💥🙈I put her Riley’s thundershirt on but it had no effect - I’m going to give her 2 nutracalm tonight- it wouldn’t be bad if it was just 1 night but it goes on for weeks. Hope everyone’s furbabies were ok and stayed safe 😀

OMG the fireworks started at 4:10pm and they were so loud- I’v started Elsa on the nutra calm she started off ok but they were so loud like bombs going off. . she wanted to go out to do her business after her tea but she was too frightened 😥she ended up going upstairs and spending the evening on our bed - hubby put the radio on for her she seemed better upstairs although she was panting crazy. Riley was ok he just slept through them bless him with his sedatives. I don’t mean to be a party pooper but when are they going to stop 😫it’s awful to see Elsa so stressed out she is normally such a happy little girl . Hoping they won’t be too bad tonight the weather isn’t too good.
