I don't know where everyone has gone. At least they're voting in the competition.

Boomsey wanted his walk so we harnessed up and out in the rain I didn't think he would like it but we waddled around the lawn and into the garden shed for some catmint and back in to the house again and now he is back in bed asleep

Just about to brave the elements for Roman's diabetes check-up at the vets Are u back yet hope all went well Got a little damp as I had to go to the local surgery to pick up some more syringes, as the hospital only had a single pack of Roman's size, I paid for them at the hospital & they let the local surgery know I was coming on my way home. Unfortunately the surgery had its quota of people (2) in the waiting room so I had to wait outside in the rain. That didn't impress the person who walked into the surgery ahead of me ignoring the notice on the door to that effect & got told to wait outside. She grumbled that it wasn't 2m anymore if masks were worn so they could fit more in the waiting room, especially with the rain. I don't think she realised that the staff also have to go through the waiting room & the person in the consulting rooms has also to come out & through there. She went back to wait in her car. I didn't have long to wait & I couldn't be bothered with going back to the car so got slightly damp but the jacket kept me dry although slightly damp on the trousers/shoes. I've posted about Roman in his own thread.

That a huge problem everywhere people seem to forget or choose to forget this virus is more active now than it was during lockdown and from what I see people just don't care about themselves or others

Your are right, many people don't care and are in denial that it can happen to them.

Tell me about it! I work with people who seem to think if they get it, it will be nothing more than having flu.

And people wonder why their area gets put in a local lockdown! cazypops were you in the area affected by the local lockdowns. Although I'm close to Greater Manchester I'm outside the borders, wasn't sure about the one near you.

Yes tonib , as we live south of the river we are outside the lockdown area. I still have to go over the river to work though.
