I took them to the store keeper who had a lady that wanted them if I could get them as I was leaving he was in the phone to her so someday next week I will get my carrier back ready for next adventure ah poor things were soaked and shivering but they will be in good hands from now on I would live to know who left them there a remote road going from one village to another they are local I hope they sleep well

Now to tell the birds story he is happy and content has a very sore shall I say paw but I'm putting very watered down savlon on it and seems to be looking a bit better like one to 12 mix and letting it dry before he sees it as for handling well he does like to sit in my hand and we walk around the garden and he picks the green fly from all the plants and I give him.water and if it's after rain he drinks from the leaves of the plants I'm still.hopefull he will be ok but as to whither he goes back to the wild or stays is going to be his decision when and if he is ready he is safer with us than he would be in the hedges moonbeam has taken a bit of a huff but he is getting better about something sleeping in his back hall I know I shouldn't spoil him but he is in trouble if I don't try and help him or her the other birds distracte him with all there talking every now and again he has to but in with a little chirp of his own

There are places that you can take the bird to, or they will collect it. I think it shouldn't be let back in the wild, it's too young to cope on it's own.
Well done on getting the 3 kittens caught and ready for their new home.

I contacted one place understandable they closed just now but spoke to a lady who told me I should have it out to sleep that's the last thing I will be doing I can't find a place that will home him somewhere that will mind him the way we are doing even though most of our info is from Google lots of info on health birds he is a smart cookie I made him a little quiet place in his clear box he can see all around but this is a place he can hide if he wants to last night before I went to bed I popped into the back hall to check he was ok he was asleep in his hide on his back I didn't think birds slept that way but then I been thinking his fee might have been sore but they do seem to be improving but twas dummy to watch him all I could see was his tail sticking out I don't think he is going anywhere soon

What I could do with if possible would be a phone number to a rescue that had more understanding I would like to talk to someone that has been down this road before

If you could ring the Irish equivalent to the RSPB they might be able to either give you advice, or put you in contact with a good rescue.

Thank goodness. I know how you worry spider because I do it with Tay the stray if I don't see him for a few days. You go through this worry with so many of the cats.
