Did anyone see the article in the Daily Mirror? A woman had put cocoa butter moisturiser on her hands and a few minutes later she cuddled her dog. The dog started to have a seizure and had to have emergency treatment at the vets. The compound THEOBROMINE in the hand cream was to blame.

Can I add another warning for these times, remember that alcohol is toxic to cats (& probably dogs especially small breeds). so be careful when you use hand sanitisers that your pet doesn't lick your hand very soon after. There's a couple of references to this in the latest Your Cat magazine. It all depends on the alcohol strength & the quantity ingested.
