My hairdressers are opening on Monday 13th. My daughter had a text message yesterday asking us to go in on Friday or Saturday to have a patch test done before our appointment on 1st August and we have to pay a £10 deposit. And there's a price increase too! Barbers charged an extra £4 when O.H had his done on Saturday. My hairdresser charged extra £5 but it is a one off, she did say the Salon prices had increased but couldn't remember by how much but was a considerable amount. She also mentioned about the test procedure because it had been so long and explained why , but I can't remember reason

I'm giving it a miss for now. My hair luckily has gone through a dormant period, so it's not to bad. OH says he likes my fringe longer now, so I've decided to let it grow for now, as I was humming and arin for a while now as to weather to grow it out or not. Plus if I decide to get it coloured I'll make an appointment with my niece and keep it in the family.

I bet you're relieved scallywag and you too molly9 . In Wales it will be 13th that the hairdressers can open again. I already have an appointment made from months ago and it's not until 1st August but I can wait for it. It will then be 6 months since my last haircut and colour. I can’t wait I bet it feels amazing scallywag think I’ll be keeping mine long kind of used to it past that annoying stage so highlights, tint & trim for me only another 19 days to go 😁 it’s amazing how patient you can be when it’s worth the wait lotsofcats xx I’ve been told I’ll have to wear a mask & wait outside until called in my hairdresser will be wearing full PPE 🥴

I’ve been told there will be an extra charge something to do with the PPE etc not been told how much though I can well understand that molly9I don't even know whether my hairdresser is open yet, every time I've driven past its closed but that was last Saturday (the 1st day they were allowed to open) & Wednesday (their normal closed day) I haven't even tried to ring yet. My hair is now proving that it has a natural curl (not usually seen even though my hair isn't normally ultra short) I've wings over my ears & round the nape of my neck. I think I'll keep the wild man of Borneo look. Someone thought I'd had it styled Just of case of a restless night!!! Rather amusingly they are next door to a dog groomers which has been open for some time now. I know its the rules/feasibility etc. but I just found it humorous as it definitely proves that the UK is a nation of pet lovers

Perhaps you will grow your hair into a new style tonib? I've got an annoying wave in the back of my hair - annoying because I have to straighten my hair every day and it's so hard to do the back, especially as I have very thick hair. I daren't get caught in the rain, especially drizzle as I then look like something the cat dragged in. When I went to the hairdresser on Saturday for a patch test she told me my hair looked alright. I have super split ends though. She said their insurance company told them that all their clients had to do a patch test if they have their hair coloured.

Apparently I haven't been here since May last year. It doesn't seem that long. Doesn't time fly when you throw a clock across the room. So I moved to a new flat and it's brilliant. It has a garden and Duchess has never been happier. I took it on unfurnished so I had to buy furniture bit by bit. First was a fridge freezer, then the dining table and chairs and just last week my dream bed which is an Ollie Triple bunk, it cost £600 and three hours to put together but I out it on finance to spread the cost. Want to see it? Okay. ibb.co/wrd2mYMDon't know if that will work. Postimages are down. I just followed Your Cat Forum on Twitter. Is that you? Are any if you on Twitter? Search for Shot By Both Sides and give me a follow.

Yes it worked God Less America, it looks very comfy. But why a bunk bed instead of a normal divan bed? Or is the top bunk for Duchess.

Well, what if a friend stays over that I would like to share a bed with? Or if it's someone just staying over you don't fancy sleeping with they can use the top bunk. Perfect logic! I don't think Duchess can get up there although those glow strips on the ladders aren't exactly illuminating, £9.99 they charged for those. I must look for some recent photos of Duchess to show everyone. If Postimages is back up they'll show in the thread here.

Thanks. I always wanted a bunk. After all, I'm almost 53 and going on 11. Why shouldn't I have a bunk bed!

I don't like it like that, it's not meant to be a school.
