It doesn't look as if the hairdressers and barbers will be allowed to reopen yet, early July has been suggested. So, that's my end of May appointment gone and my next booked appointment is the end of July. I've accepted it now and strangely enough my hair isn't looking too bad at the moment, once I've used the straighteners in the morning it's okay. I have dark roots showing as I have copper highlights but who cares?, I cut my fringe myself and my style is staying in as my hair gets longer. I have a little grey but most is underneath and I'm pulling out the grey hairs that appear in my fringe. I will survive!

Something happening this week. Thursday. Reducing social distancing. Back to school. Non essential shops to reopen (includes barbers?) Even talk of pubs and restaurants reopening. Before June like I said all along. I should be in Parliament! That'd shake things up. Yeah you should be in parliament . on reflection the only thing on the list is the schools

I'm thankful my hair is quite low maintenance! I usually have it trimmed every 7-8 weeks along with my mum as she has our hairdresser round to the house, we've missed one appointment so far. I just have my hair grown out long now so I'm not suffering at all except from split ends My boyfriend on the other hand desperately needs to have his done He asked me to do it for him but I wasn't confident with my skills in the style he has it so he's going to have to just let it grow. He borrowed my dog clippers for their dogs and had the ingenious idea that he could do his own hair with them... I quickly took my clippers back and got them far far away from him

Just had mine done again. Forgot to say hairdressers were mentioned as planned to reopen from 1st June. Cats never have haircuts do they. But Maine Coons look as though they could do with a haircut sometimes! They are the largest domesticated cat breed dont'cha know.

Kiba-Khan is pictured below and he certainly has lots of hair; at the moment he has shed lots and has his summer coat so the big mane has mostly gone. Kai Ruki is not as hairy! 3 more of my cats are long haired. The beautiful Maine Coon in your pic is a black smoke. on Flickr

That's a point for sure and if life doesn't return to something like what it was a lot of smaller businesses will not be able to stay open

I think that as soon as everything is back to normal in the distant future people will go back to their old ways. I just hope that the small companies can last out until then.
