Its really silly now isn't it. Tesco has an opening slot 9 - 10 for the oap's well by time they get there the place is heaving and they were not oap's and the shelves were stripped again !!! That's so unfair there is no humanity in some.people Sooo un fair and people are being so selfish. I went shopping this morning for Mum and her neighbour. They can't get out one has heart failure the other has cancer. I managed to get 2 packs of 4 toilet rolls, but at the checkout I heard another old person not been able to get t.rolls so gave one up. Other people have packs of 9 and 16 but wont batter an ear to anyone I will be going to heaven I believe LOL

It’s a very sad world we live in - I nipped to Asda this afternoon to get a bit of shopping - I needed fresh veg/ potatoes and some fresh meats - I messaged my elderly neighbour to see if he needed anything whilst I was there - he replied no he was fine “which was good because I only managed to get a pack of bacon, mince, no fresh veg only sweet potatoes, they didn’t even have any tinned foods - god knows why they are saying you can get 3 items I was really struggling to get 1. And as for hand wash / soap/ shower gel none what’s so ever and a definite no no for toilet rolls luckily I bought a pack of them mid week 🙈it’s just a crazy crazy world ☹️

chantel it is crazy out there, Im sitting here pondering IF to go and sit outside Waitrose tmw and target the old, see if they came in for toilet rolls , and give them a roll , I have a spare pack ( long story cut short , dragged O.H out at 6am to Tesco as I could not sleep ,and he was awake anyways, this business is waking me just thinking out it so bought mums neighbour a pack of toilet rolls, yesterday it was on his list , BUT none to be found, so gave him 3 from my pack , ok not a lot but for one person that should last a week ? .) Bought some today which He declined them, and the 6 eggs and 2 x tins of chicken soup and 1 x 4 pots of baked beans. Ok so I never knew they went straight thru him , trying to keep this a light post so what I did buy him half was rejected, I told him I know you never asked for these items but the shelves are really bear, I'm not asking you to pay , I wouldn't spend your pension like that still he sent me packing with 6 eggs 2 tins of big soup and 4 pots of beans. Oh well another neighbour gains. Where I was coming from was I now have more toilet rolls than I need. Back to the beginning of this post as I may have lost you in translation pondering if to go on toilet roll patrol don't know about losing you , think I may have lost myself now

I must admit I was amused in a Tesco's on Tuesday, I was with a friend who was in the cat & dog food aisle & I walked past the next aisle - toilet roll/tissue/kitchen roll- looked along the shelves - couldn't see anything on the shelves except at the far end. Bags of cat litter - was this a suggestion on Tesco's behalf Ok so I have a warped sense of humour! I'm lucky as I'm managing to find what I need but that could be because I can go to various shops during the working day & was relatively stocked up beforehand & with just me (& the cats) I don't need a lot. Not long before this all started the local dairy milk round was restarted with glass bottles & I signed up so I get my small amount of milk delivered each week so don't have to bother with that at least.

Went to do my big weekly shop at Asda Saturday morning and they had some toilet rolls! It was much better than when I popped in on Thursday before work. The fresh meat was a bit low but we bought a chicken (but only had small ones) and a leg of lamb and a small piece of ham to cook. Bought 3 large boxes (40 pouches each) of cat food and 2 of the Gourmet Surf and Turf for Kai Ruki - it sounds a lot but that's only just over a week's supply of cat food.
