Sorry I forgot to update this. We saw the head vet who had reviewed the results & was happy about the figures as they didn't match any clinical signs so wondered if the machine needed re-calibrating. Something that is done regularly by the support company bringing another & taking the current one away. Anyway he suggested that we waited a month & then had the bloods redone FOC!
He's in the vets today (due to needing sedation) for the blood test. That branch's machine was replaced & tested last week so that should all be OK. Fingers crossed the blood results are more normal this time otherwise goodness knows where we go from there. Just waiting to hear between 2 & 3 when he will be ready to pick up.

Thanks everyone. It was good news all the blood results bar 2 were in the normal range, albeit some just inside the range! His glucose was high but that was to be expected as it rises with stress! The only other one out was the platlet count which was slightly low but the vet wasn't worried. In fact he said Osiris was good for his age! Not sure Osiris would appreciate being 13 as age! He was only mildly sedated according to the vet & still didn't appreciate his blood being taken. Oddly I can't see any shaved areas on his neck which is where they normally take blood from but both his front legs were shaved. His neck fur has almost fully grown back from last month but I could still just see the patches on his legs now he's back to bald on the legs but in larger patches! He's definitely got tabby markings on his skin!

Glad that you had good news tonib. Has Osiris forgiven you yet?

That's good news. Out of curiosity, because there machine was in question, did you still have to pay for the second set of bloods?

That is great news usually our vet takes bloods from front paw that's from memory and that's a bit dodgy at this stage
