Just wondered if anyone has used either of these repellents for ticks and fleas (and any other kind of external parasite) and if they have worked?
Flea away

No more bites

I do occasionally bath them in a serendipity herbal product that is a repellent (more or less the same as CSJ skinny dip), but looking for possibly something I could be using between baths (as they do not happen often).
Do use billy no mates if I am due to holiday in a tick prone area and I guess I could consider using this in their diet over a longer period of time instead of the above. Last year while on holiday used a spray too but pretty much used all of that up (again a Serendipity herbal product that is similar to CSJ skinny spray), I would need gallons of the stuff if I was to use that daily Have to admit between bath before holiday, spray daily and BNM we did not see any ticks but then for some reason we did not see the deer we would normally see in the forest so maybe there was less exposure!
Not looking for chemical alternatives but if anyone knows of other effective more natural options would be happy to hear them
Phoebe has really suffered this autumn / winter with her allergies which is showing as hotspots. It has been a real wet one here so we are constantly washing or towel drying feet etc. Having allergies to things like mould mites which will be prevalent in the damp conditions is not going to be helping her. As such I am really thinking ahead to her next allergy window (from sept this year) and thinking if I can repel any possible external biting bugs that could exacerbate the issue it can only be of help.
