It must be mind boggling and hard to know what to feed every day ?! Not for me im afraid, I don't enough about raw to change over I thought that when I started but it's actually pretty simple once you get used to it and have some sort of system Everyone does it differently, but my method is to defrost each evening for next day, weighing out just under 400g Egg & fish every 4 days Heart & tripe every 7 days 40g liver & 40g kidney (10%) every other day (or 80g each every 4 days) The rest is just filled with a variety of meat chunks/minces and meaty bones. Bone supposed to be around 10% but I have no real clue and just go by eye & poop consistency Still sounds complicated I bet To help me remember what he's had and when, I take a photo of what I'm defrosting every evening and keep the photos on my phone so I can look back & check them when I'm defrosting the next day I can then see how many days since heart or fish etc have appeared and know whether its due that day or not. Easy peasy!

It is not difficult, I try and balance food over a week or so. General guide I use is over a week or so they are having a diet that is approx 10% bone 5% liver 5% other offal and the rest is meat. In my case I give veg/fruit as added extras. Best way to start would be with a 'complete'. Lots of good companies out there who do them.

Has anyone else tried the Akela digestive aid? It's pumpkin, banana & sweet potato mainly, with pro & prebiotics. I got a tin from Just Dogs Live last weekend and Alfie LOVES it. I've portioned it into an ice cube tray to use to give his tree barks powder in. Low fat (1%) and low protein (2%) so perfect for Alfie - it smelt delicious too!

From one tin I've filled 21 ice cube sections, two medium Kongs and I've still got a little bit in the fridge which I'm going to use tonight. Oh and my hamsters both had a little piece too www.wholeprey.com/akela-digestive-aid-pumpkin-mix-complimentary-wet-food-400g.html

He saw it as a special treat He will be on Forthglade grain free as his wet food in kennels, but we have some odd ones to use up before then (thanks barley! )

Having a bad week, fed dogs but forgot to note down values this morning! Try writing up Gypsys diary without quantities!! Educated guesstimate done!
Anyway dogs had rabbit chunks, beef chunks, haddock, turkey chunks and pigs pancreas today along with egg shell and broccoli stems.
